Beast’s Origins

Beast’s Origins

Bella warns. “What’s a Kaiju?” Ember asks. “Giant monsters.” Casey responds. Ember makes an O shape with her mouth. “I’ve already dealt with one. It was in the prison of the damned.” I say. “It’s dead now.” “Well then.” Casey says. “Giant monsters shouldn’t be a problem then. You must have killed Gojira, the King of the Monsters. However, there is a three headed dragon that guards that temple. It’s called Onaga.”

Alphas Hybrid Luna

Alphas Hybrid Luna

“It's like they're multiplying somewhere and keep respawning somehow.” Alysia stared at them again and realized she was right. Alice had conjured monsters to fight the battle, and not just any ones, powerful ones. You could tell from their gait and blood shot eyes that they were here to wreak as much havoc as they could, and Alice stood by the side, cheering them all on “Where did she get those from?” Damon was obviously referring to the monsters. He tried his best to fight them off as well, but they weren't relenting.

Reincarnated As A Dragon

Reincarnated As A Dragon

What I do know is that they explained many common monsters like trolls and goblins, because they played a role in some rescue scenes between the harems and the villainess. “That thing? What does it do?” Commented by me in monotone as I sauntered my way through another patch of bushes. “That- The obsidian golem is known to be among the rarest, yet most dangerous A-class monsters. It can only be found in this forest but that too, doesn’t determine if you can successfully find it or not.” Elfina is tripping in her words, but I can conclude from the hype she gave me that the rock- ahem, I mean obsidian golem that uselessly cause me a fright is a rare monster.

she continued, “their blood responds before their minds do. That is why mates feel one another across distance. Why separation feels like illness.” Her gaze drifted knowingly toward me, though Mae had asked. “That is also why denying it can be fatal.” The candles flickered, shadows crawling across the walls. “Not everyone who is recognized should be turned,” the Ancient One said. “But those who ask. Those who step forward and choose the monster willingly—” She leaned toward us, voice lowering. “They almost always survive.” Her eyes locked fully onto mine. “Because the change does not create the darkness,” she said. “It only gives it permission.”

Healing with the monster

Healing with the monster

I gasped. Every time I moved, a ripple of gold light fought through the black veins in my arm, and the obsidian walls transformed. They weren't just rocks; they were Living Servers. Thousands of years of data, etched into the very crust of the earth, were beginning to stream across the surfaces in a language that looked like a mix of ancient Igbo runes and modern binary code.

signs you see in public restrooms. Written on them in thick marker were the words: “Don’t go here. Big monster ahead.” Below that, there was even a small tip. “Take the middle path. The boss’s room is in there. Go straight and then left. It’s the first door. Hurry, I’m waiting for you!” My eye twitched. When had games become so generous these days, handing out walkthroughs like that? Besides, what was with that playful tone? Still, there was a chance it was a trap. So, I picked up stones and threw one down each path. Only the middle one produced a clear echo. It wasn’t enough to be certain, but at this point, I had no choice but to treat it as my only option.

Divine Academy

Divine Academy

The Ushi-Oni or the gyūki, The gyūki was a monster whose appearance looked like a spider with an ox's head that sported long sharp poisonous horns, and razor-sharp fangs, each of its six legs had a single long claw that could slice through even the toughest of metals, and its forked tongue carried the force of a whip. It was a creature of nightmares. A monster that most gods assumed was mythical, a folklore legend, but the gods of the Underworld Kingdom knew better. A single Ushi-Oni could cause a sickness that would drain the lesser gods and goddesses of their souls and their divine gifts; it would then use those powers to unlock the hidden cells of the sub-princes of Hell; Astaroth, Maggot

DOOM

DOOM

Embarassed by Doom's revelation, she pulled her card over me. "Well, what can I do. You are nothing, but a heartless monster who drove my mom crazy and now you are playing victim while my poor mom was killed because of you." This sick bitc*. She is indeed a carbon copy of her mother. I could still remember fresh like yesterday that bloody hell memories with that murderer. I was about to crumple my fist when Doom suddenly held my hand to ease my anger. I masked my uneasiness with a stoic face. "Don't tell me you also came here to kill me," I responded and laughed without humor, "You know like mother, like daughter."

The Mates of Monsters

The Mates of Monsters

I tighten my grip on David and ask, "Your proclamation—what's the big picture? Where do you see this going? I'm curious, Alpha Nicodra. Do you have any specific ideas regarding how exactly you're going to resurrect our culture?" He lifts his glass to me and says, "I'm happy to hear your interest. My ideas are truly rooted in our conformity to a way of life that was simply not built on the beings we are. Frankly, Brigette, we are not human. In all honesty, we're monsters—at least to them, at least in our physiology." "Monsters," I repeat, tasting the word on my tongue.

This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE
Gabbalaba
What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.
