Old Man Eating Paint Novels & Stories

The old lady looked at me and smiled. It wasn't a kind smile. It wasn't the smile of a grandmother welcoming a long-lost nephew. It was a wide, toothy, predatory expression, the skin around her mouth stretching unnaturally, as if the paint itself were being pulled by invisible threads. The blue in her eyes flashed with a sudden, electric intensity, and I heard it then—a soft, dry rustle, like paper crinkling, coming from the canvas.

I walked over to one of the paintings, it was a paining of a bright green tree in autumn . “Did you paint this?” I asked my hands on the painting. “Yes….it’s…..hope “ he says walking towards me with a stern look. “ you can wither away and still have fruit left … it’s hope” he adds , inches away from my face now. “Here” he raised his hand to reveal a tube like paste. “It’s an ointment,for your head”

“Knock out all your teeth!” “You would cry from the pain!” “Hmph!" “I’ll allow it.” The Old Master trembled while hugging Aino, and his eyes turned into slits from smiling widely. “With such a domineering and good great-granddaughter ordering me, how would I dare not allow it? If you knocked out all my teeth, then I would not even be able to eat anymore. I’m scared.” A victorious smile appeared on Aino’s face. She did not know that when she was taking the walnut as she wanted to knock out her great grandpa’s teeth, her so-called stinky bum dad had already warned the four elders.

The more I looked at that painting, the more it bore semblance to something I had seen in my nightmares. Bemused, I looked at him, trying to picture any resemblance between him and the elderly man that normally did the painting. Needless to say, Vincent here was either an apprentice or a quack. And now, it became obvious to me that everyone had laughed because they were aware that he couldn’t paint. But if they had been aware, why did Mum let me waste my time on that no-good painting? My face was between laughing or frowning at Vincent for wasting my time. But just then, he muttered with a cocky grin, “For the final part…”

She chuckled, turning her head at me. “Promise me you won’t sell this, Red,” she laughed. I shook my head, my shoulders shaking as I laughed with her. “I will keep this. You didn’t tell me you have this kind of talent, but you got my lips wrong.” I raised my hand, my index finger pointing at the curve of the lips of her stick man drawing. Aya glanced at me and then nodded. “Paint again, Red,” she murmured. “I can’t. Since Scarlett died, I felt like I could not paint anymore,” I muttered sadly, glancing at the last piece I made, Scarlett and our twins.

Please, eat. You'll need it for later." The old man, even though he was handsome even at his age, looked so gross. It was disgusting that the woman couldn't help but to grimace secretly. "Alright, if you say so, daddy," she said and smiled seductively, biting into her glossy lips.

She realises now, looking at a paint sample labelled ‘cinnamon spice’, that she hasn’t even eaten today, and it’s already late. “Five minutes, I promise, please?” She looks at him sweetly, knowing the painting will occupy her through the sleepless night that awaits her back home. “Fine, I’ll make myself another coffee.” Olivia nods and thanks the employee, browsing through the samples until she decides. She realises she has nothing at home to actually paint with, so she picks up a paintbrush, then a roller, then a bunch of other things she probably needs. It was always Dan who had done the DIY.

he apologizes to Becky with tears in his eyes. "Oh, that's sad. Where are your kids"? Becky asked with concern. "They all left us alone after my wife was diagnosed with cancer". he replies with a sad tone. "Don't worry Uncle. Trust me, it's not your fault". She tries to console the old feeble man. As for the old man, he simply motioned for Gerald to swallow everything. “What… what is this? Why is it so bitter?” Gerald felt absolutely disgusted. The old man made a gesture, and Gerald understood it in an instant. “What?! You are asking me to eat a snake’s gallbladder? Furthermore, it is not even cooked! It’s completely raw!” Gerald exclaimed in surprise. The old man continued making another gesture. “This is the gallbladder of an anaconda that has survived for more than three hundred years?! It is that precious?!”
