"What happened to you?" Her trousers pulled up around her ankle, and I noticed a gnarly bite mark on her left leg. The bite caused the skin around it to turn blue. A wave of nausea hit me suddenly, but I tried my hardest not to react. "You're from the Rivermoon Pack," I said when my brain finally proceeded to explain what had happened. It was her voice that I heard a little while ago. And as soon as I looked into this woman's eyes, all of my doubts and fears disappeared. I no longer have thoughts regarding monsters or anything else. I recognized she was Omega, a mother as well.

HUNTER’s POV I look at the girl with my arms folded across my chest. Elena, that is her name. Omegas like her are supposed to be frail and fleeting, but like her name which means ‘the light of the sun’, I see an unyielding fire burning behind her ocean blue eyes and because of this, I know that she is no ordinary omega. This girl is a fighter and no one on the face of the earth will be able to stand in her way until she sees justice served.

Maya's POV Dory, an omega, asked me aggressively, "You jinx, what are you zoning out about?" I was trying not to pull her head off of her shoulder. She thinks highly of herself just because she is the head of the Omegas in the pack house. I closed my eyes and tried to regain my calmness. And when I did, I looked at her and replied,

I couldn’t understand what her prolonged stare meant. “ Introduce yourself, Lana. ” She spoke when I stared back at her. My lips formed an O shape. Realization dawned upon me. Facing the three Alphas, I blinked awkwardly. Was I supposed to bow in respect or what? “ Hey? ” I waved my hand instead. “ I am Nor… ” Satan’s Buttocks! Not Nora. I coughed to clear my throat as all three of them stared at me with their penetrating eyes. “ I am Lana Redley. And I was chosen as the omega for the year by His Highness, Alpha King of the West. ” It sounded like Lana this time, right?

Elias yelled: “ALEX—DON’T OVERLOAD—!!” But Alexander didn’t hear him. Or didn’t care. He pinned the Helion down, punching through armor plate after plate, gold flickering dangerously around his fists. The Helion’s visor cracked. Alexander roared, slamming his palm against its chest— A pulse of unstable Omega energy burst outward. The snow around them evaporated. Elias’s eyes widened. “He’s losing control—Rhea, do something—!” Rhea cursed. “He goes Omega out here and we’re ALL done.”

As he helped me up, a wave of dizziness hit me like a blow, and before I could halt it, my stomach lurched. I hesitantly made it to the nearby oak tree in front of me before I doubled over, throwing up whatever was left in my stomach. A feverish chill rippling through my spine as I shivered uncontrollably. I could feel his towering presence behind me, steady, and unwavering. “I’m an Omega,” I blurted, my voice barely above a whisper. “Your kind doesn’t mingle with people like me so please leave me alone.” A long silence followed.

"That's not true." Sister Maria's eyes narrowed, and she stepped closer, her voice a harsh, accusing whisper. "You know it's true. You've always known. You're a wolf less omega, a half-breed. You don't belong here. You don't belong anywhere." Xienma's hands trembled, and she felt a wave of doubt and self-loathing wash over her. But then, a fierce growl echoed in her mind, a reminder of the strength that lay within her. Ana's presence surged, a protective and comforting force that pushed back against the darkness. "You are the she-wolf of the prophecy," Ana whispered, her voice a steady anchor in the storm of Xienma's doubts. "Embrace your power, and together, we will face whatever comes."

The scent told me this was the real deal and not just a model. I prodded the skull again, doing my best to suppress my panic when a piece of paper slipped out. Written out crudely on it was: ‘You whore! You ruined everything! Meet me at the pack's east border before midnight. Don’t test my patience, Omega.’ My throat dried at the last sentence. The word ‘omega’ stared maliciously back at me, a title that I could never escape. How did whoever this is was know my identity? I threw on a hoodie, pants and my hiking boots on autopilot. Could they just be speculating?

"Come to 425 Oak Street. Alone. No police, no friends. If you tell anyone or try to bring backup, I'll know. And you won't like what happens next." The line went dead. I met Helena's frightened gaze. She squeezed my hand. "We have to call the cops, Jade. This guy sounds dangerous—" I cut her off with a sharp look, glancing meaningfully at the phone. We didn't know if he was still listening. Grabbing a pen, I scrawled a quick note. 'I'm going. Look after yourself.' Before she could protest, I shifted into my wolf form and bolted for the door. As an omega, I was small even in wolf form, but I was fast on four legs. And I could handle any human who tried to hurt me.
