[Apple] “What’s this?” I pull out a tiny glass vial filled with a liquid that swirls and glows green in the sunlight. “That is a scent-enhancer.” He tries to explain. “They are illegal because they can be used to mask a wolf’s true scent. They are often sought out by omegas who are trying to escape their fates by landing gamma or beta mates.” Something this valuable must have cost a small fortune.

If I had listened to you, this wouldn't have been this complicated. I restlessly waited for half an hour more when I finally caught the faint scent of my omega in the wind. Rose water and turmeric. So rich and fresh. My wolf perked up as we both stared into the direction it came from, my heart beating like it was about to crush my ribs.

Apparently, he’s found himself an omega.” Her expression darkened instantly, her face twisting in disapproval. “An omega?” she spat, her lip curling. “A beta marrying a creature as lowly as an omega?” She shook her head, her voice laced with scorn. “What is Tyrone thinking? He could have chosen a strong, influential woman—someone from a powerful bloodline, someone like Hannah.”

Her heart hammered against her ribs, and her breathing became more and more shallow. Their pheromones intensified as they sensed the Omega’s reaction. The scents of cedarwood, dark chocolate, and lavender mixed together into a powerful and intoxicating aura that blurred Lalisa’s senses. The scent was the most wonderful thing I'd perceived in my entire life. It was alluring, bewitching, mouthwatering and arousing. The scent was dark and sexy. I never thought scents could be like that until I caught a whiff of it. The scent could best be described as juicy pomegranates and raspberries blended impeccably with spicy woods and patchouli wrapped around pink pepper and Japanese cherry blossom. How is this even possible?!
