Someone exclaimed. “Of course she does, she is the reincarnation of Victoria, the most powerful Lunar who ever lived!” I rolled my eyes. “Yes, I am a Lunar,” I said proudly as the crowd fell silent. “But I am not a reincarnation. Victoria was the first female Alpha, and her story is tragic. Her mate, who was King before the title passed to King Maddoc’s father, rejected her. He was afraid of having a mate more powerful than he was. She waited a year for him to change his mind before accepting his rejection. He died the day she accepted it. Victoria led her pack, but the world wasn’t ready for the changes she wanted to bring. I can only hope that times have changed enough for the seed she pla

He practically jumped out of my room, acting like a little kid who had just found out about a trip to Disneyland. I couldn't help but chuckle and shake my head as I saw it. Then I started wondering what would happen if Felix found Red's true origins. The Queen, who wasn't the Alpha King's true mate, had to be accepted by every Alpha at the annual meeting, and getting this kind of acceptance was next to impossible. The Queen's lineage was extremely important. It was crucial that she had a powerful backup. Otherwise, she would never receive enough votes.

She made me promise never to bring up the topic again and I didn't. The water ran down my back as I stroked my hair letting it run down my shoulders. Uncle had been managing the pack till I was old enough and now that I am, he was ready to ordain me as the Queen. The crescent pack has been ruled by women centuries ago. No man, either married to the Queen was to lead the pack. It had always been women as alphas. I was nineteen and already a warrior and the next Alpha Queen. I've won over five wars since I turned seventeen.

the Queen suddenly said, “but one thing kept me going” Lucien turned to her “What's that?” “You,” the Queen said sharply. “I knew that he was going to take my decision out on you, and I couldn't bear to. Nyssa was right also about Elder Albert.” “What do you mean, Mother?” “We were supposed mates but then the Alpha at that time had betrothed me to his son, Alpha Mark and my parents couldn't care less about my mate, but as fate would have it, we ended up in the same pack and we just couldn't hold ourselves anymore.”

“He overheard your plans, Sonya and Cathy. You were both caught red-handed.” “Sonya Hale,” he said, his tone heavy with regret, “I, Alpha Jacob, reject you as my mate and future Luna.” Alpha Jacob rejected. “You will no longer step foot in the Alpha’s headquarters anymore. Both your presence is no longer welcome here. If I discover any more of your plots then I’ll be forced to banish you both from my pack as rogues.” Alpha Jacob’s rejection echoed through the room. Sonya’s eyes widened in shock, her mouth opening and closing soundlessly as she struggled to find the words to respond.

"Alpha I think we should go back sock ,today isn't a good catch. We have been walking past three houses without any catch and you know you have a meeting with the elders of the pack . The alpha stood for a while and thought about what his beta said and nodded his head . "Let's get going now " I could see the disappointed look on the faces of the rest of the wives ,I knew they all wanted to continue this outing. The Alpha climbed Into his horse just immediately three big bulls rushed out of the bush . I could see the terrified looks that suddenly entered the face of the queens ,most of them fell from the horse because of shock .

"The thorns were easy, Derek. Next week? Next week, the ground won't be the only thing you're digging for." She turned away, her silk dress swishing like a blade, leaving the "Alpha Prince" standing alone in the middle of the crowded room, finally realizing that the girl he had rejected wasn't just a player in the game she owned the board.

Ezekiel pressed stating his curiosity over the matter making the man continue. "Firstly, it is assumed that maybe because Alpha Raymond had already rejected his fated mate and announced another she-wolf as his chosen mate, he also became physically involved with that woman that's why the Queen was able to find a second chance mate." He paused glancing at his King's face which was void of any expressions, he seemed to be keenly involved in what his man was saying.

I smile, "good thinking Kirk, perhaps we should do a bit of recon, ensure that he doesn't get to our future Queen too soon, but I don't want him killed, unless it is unavoidable, I believe he is Alpha Maddon of the Blue Mountain pack." Kirks brows shot up into this hairline, "an Alpha rejected his fated mate, that's unheard of, why would he do that for goddess sake." "She said he didn't think she was good enough for him," I can't help the chuckle that leaves my lips, "think about it, he will bow down to her as his Queen the next time he see's her and I will have her heart, body and soul attached to me," I wink at him, "the vengence she will get from this without her doing a thing for it, jus

The square fell deathly silent in an instant. “I know you are my fated mate.” Kaelen stared down at the grey-cloaked figure below, his tone frigid. “But the Black Rock Clan has no use for a waste who cannot even awaken her wolf core. I stand here today to declare: I reject this bond.” The words hung in the air for a heartbeat of dead silence, then the square erupted into raucous, mocking laughter. “Did you hear that?
