He nodded and began to examine me again and, after a while, turned to Zeus. "This is a miracle! She's perfectly healed!" My smile widened. "Doctor, are you sure? I mean, thirty minutes ago when I was here, she was still unconscious. "That's why I said this is a Miracle. I have never seen anything like this in my three thirty-three years as a doctor!"

“There are a grand tot of eighteen men, all in a very critical condition.” I ask myself if it is possible that she might be the miracle doctor, but she looks so plain, that I can’t wrap my head around that. But it’s also wrong to judge a book from its cover and still… I would have imagined the miracle doctor to have a bit more of an impressive aura. The furious expression of the Alpha morphs into concern and he follows the recap of the doctor carefully before she sprints to the back door and he turns towards me.

He said, his voice cracking slightly "Perhaps the serum did not work," He took his hands to my leg and began to inspect the breakage "This needs setting into place before you heal fully," trying to change the subject wasn't going to save him. "You told them where I was, didn't you," I said firmly, a gravelly growl began to simmer in my throat "Only you knew about the other house," "Alright, this may hurt while I snap your bones back into place," The Doctor said, completely ignoring me accusations. I yelled in pain as the Doctor set my bones. He grabbed a roll of bandage and began rolling it around my leg securely, his eyes avoiding my contact.

Tall, easily over six feet, with dark hair and striking blue-gray eyes that focused on me with an intensity that made my skin warm. He wore a white coat over expensive-looking clothes, and when he extended his hand, I noticed the watch on his wrist. Definitely not something most doctors could afford. "Ms. Hartley. I'm Dr. Vincent Kane. It's nice to meet you." I stood on shaky legs and shook his hand. His grip was firm, warm. "Please, have a seat. And call me Vincent if you're comfortable with that." He settled into the chair across from me, completely at ease. He picked up my intake forms.

I narrowed my eyes at him and stood to my feet. “Doctor, I don’t think we’ve met. I’m Luna Silver,” I told him. He bowed his head, bearing his neck. “Luna, it’s an honor to finally meet you. I’m Dr. Kyle Laurence,” he told me. My frown deepened; I’d seen a picture of Dr. Laurence a while back in a medical magazine. He was a very good doctor and won many rewards. This doctor resembled Dr. Laurence, and he smiled like pack, but there was something about him that I couldn’t put my finger on.

"Absolutely not." He laughs. "I'm serious." "I spent most of my life cleaning floors." "And now you're a Queen….. a sovereign queen.” He holds my hands. “I only wish Lennox found out about you before his demise.” That melts me instantly. He was nice and caring towards me. I open my mouth to say something and a voice interrupts us. "Your Majesties." Both of us turn and I'm shocked to see a middle-aged doctor approaching quickly, carrying a medical case.

“Maybe if you’d come a few days earlier. But now it’s no longer possible. Too much time has passed.” He turned to Jon. “Why didn’t you bring him to me? You weren’t trying to treat him on your own were you?” Jon flushed and turned away but didn’t respond. Seeing the guilty look on his face, the doctor grabbed an umbrella from the corner of the room, but Jon moved away before he could reach him. “Stop running.” The doctor chased after him, umbrella high up in the air. “You think being a doctor is all fun and games where you could pick up some tools and start treating people without proper training?”

As we stood there finishing out conversation, the doctor knocked on the door before entering. He was surprised to see Jeff sitting up and talking with a smile on his face. “You did it?” the doctor asked Marly. “It looks like I did,” she confirmed, as we knew the doctor was bound by confidentiality as per the King’s orders. “That is good news, Luna. Do you need anything else from me?” he asked, eager to help in any way he could.

"What we just saw is classified medical information about Miss Hart's condition. Anyone who speaks about this outside this room will be terminated immediately. Are we clear?" Everyone nodded, too shocked to argue. "Mary, with me. Now." Dr. Stevens grabbed my arm and pulled me from the emergency room into a private office. He closed the door and turned to face me. "What are you?" "I'm just an intern." "Don't lie to me. I've been a doctor for thirty years. I've seen a lot of things. But I've never seen anyone heal wounds with glowing hands through touch alone. That's not normal wolf healing. That's something else entirely."

A knock came to the door, and both of us moved out gazes to it. "The doctor must be here," He uttered, and my cheeks reddened. I hoped that the doctor would say that I was fully alright. "Who is that?" Jayden asked out of courtesy. "It's the pack doctor, Your Majesty." "You can come inside," Jayden permitted. The doctor walked into the room. He was a different doctor from the one that attended to us before. "Good day, Your Majesty, Luna..." He greeted us. "My name is Doctor Harry. I had to come because the main pack doctor is quite busy," He explained.
