Novel & Cerita One Dark Window Book 2

Chapter 1: Dysfunctional family. The darkness is nothing more than a test that God gives us, many times to overcome things and learn from it, but in the end we all carry that darkness in our hearts, we just have to decide whether to expel it or let it dwell within you. Charlotte is a girl who has been in the dark since she was born, her parents were shitty to her, she was beaten and mistreated unjustifiably simply because her parents wanted it that way, but to understand a little of this story we must return to the past.

I would always protect her. I poured myself a glass of whiskey as I sat in the dark staring out the window of my room. There was a full moon tonight, and my wolf was as restless as ever. He wanted to be out there running free in the night, but there was too much on my plate right now. Even though it had been only hours since I had seen her, I needed to be near her again. If she had only just come with me then things would have been better. Now I had other shit to worry about.

More than anything, she was concerned about her friend. **** This book is sequel to the first book Innocence. You have to read the first book to know the story clearly. The first book "Innocence" is available here on my Goodnovel profile. And then comes the second book "Innocence || book 2". Thanks for reading. Please vote and comment :)

CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE: I was trapped under glass and surrounded by freezing cold water. I tried to breathe and only water entered my lungs, my eyes bulging out in panic. It was dark with just a sliver of light and I was frantically moving my hands along the glass feeling for a way out. My lungs burned with the need to breathe and my throat was coated in salt. I couldn’t feel for a way out and started banging my fists on the glass. I banged over, and over, and over again with the same result, nothing. I felt myself getting both cold and warm all over, my joints going numb. My eyes closed. And I felt so sleepy. If I could only just rest for a moment. My eyes flickered and for an instant I thoug

“But your view from behind, which I watched when I was barely awake, still fascinates a little more. - Vulgar! She smiled, closing her eyes. The man behind me was almost a head taller than me and completely undressed. I grabbed his powerful wrist with my hand and opened my eyes. The smile quickly left my lips. Outside the window, something unimaginable was happening! Thick Darkness hovered over the forest like a heavy cloud, its black tentacles, wriggling, swiftly crawling along the ground, towards the hostel. I leaned against the window, holding my breath as I watched the scene unfold. Do you see it too? I asked quietly. My hand, lying on the windowpane, was covered by a man's, intertwining

' She spun her head to look at her window, the blinds were barely open, it was dark outside but with her light on someone could definitely see inside if they wanted to. She stood up, going over to her window, about to pull her curtain down when she saw eyes looking at her, yellow, bright eyes. She gasped as a nail tapped her window, then her phone went off again. "Open it quietly Davina, don't make a scene." Looking back to her window she walked away from it, over to her bedroom door where her light switch was, she flipped it off, her room becoming dark, the only thing she could see were the eyes watching her every move 'Damn wolves and their night vision' she slowly walked back to her windo

Slowly I start to work at one of the windows, but as I pull it open, it starts to make a loud crack. I stand in complete haunting silence as I wait for someone to rush in from outside. Yet. Nothing. I slowly push myself up and slip my legs one by one out the open window. It is completely pitch dark; there is no way of knowing if there is someone out here until I am on top of them. But after a save few steps, I start to feel that I have made it. But then… As I am trying to disappear into the darkness… I wait… But, still, nothing…

That’s when I see it. The blinds. Pulled back just enough to reveal a face. Eyes. Staring right back at me from the dark window of that house. My breath catches in my throat, and for a second, time seems to freeze. The figure’s gaze is unwavering, locked on mine. My heart stutters in my chest, the thud of it too loud in my ears. Is that... No. No way. That can’t be him.

I was glad that was where I started when I found the window overlooking the patio unlocked. I took a moment to look out at the glowing moon. It wasn’t that long ago that all it was to me was beautiful. Now, it meant so much more. I quickly remedied the situation and then continued on. When I was satisfied that I’d checked all points of access on the basement level, I headed up to the main floor. There were a great deal more windows and doors to contend with and it worried me. If Godwin’s spell weakened at all, they could easily break the glass on one of the many oversized panes that were installed to provide a panoramic view of the mountain and enter the house.

I try again to mind link him with no answer. I hear footsteps down the hall coming towards my door. I quickly stand as tall as possible, which is hard because I am so tired and my legs barely hold me up anymore. I have to though; I refuse to show him any sign of weakness. The door opens and in walks Shane, his signature smirk and a rose.
