AFTERGLOW | Feralis Series No. 1

AFTERGLOW | Feralis Series No. 1

she began to go on, “not a surprise since she’d always say her kind of paradise would be a library.” “So if you want, you can go upstairs to read that book you’re holding,” said someone beside me, her voice soft and light like a caress of a feather. I craned my neck to see a woman with unruly hair as red as blood and bright blue eyes, pointing her index finger up. “Only for a maximum of three hours for one book. Once the time is up, we will begin to charge you ten lums per hour," she told me with a set face.

Now is a really good time since I'm alone and not expecting any visitors. I really can't explain just how time flies. I've been reading the book and I'm on CHAPTER thirty-five. It just feels like I read chapter one five seconds ago. But now it's almost 5 pm. I take my phone under the pillow taking a little bit of a break from the book. I get all these messages and missed calls from Bruna telling me to get online. This doesn't sound good.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

You have thirty-six hours to reach the Final Destination. Any candidate who takes longer than that will not pass. We wish you the best of luck. I glance through the note one more time, my mind coming fully back to me now as adrenaline starts to pump through my veins. Once I’m sure that I’ve committed it all to memory, I crumple it and toss it into the corner of the box, sorting quickly through my supplies as I glance around the forest, eager to get on the move.

I’m totally obsessed with this book! It’s so well written. The characters in this book are so deep and significantly different from one another. It gives this book the depth that most of the novels lack of. Furthermore, the story is interesting, adventurous, funny yet touching or even scary at times

I’ve read quite a few books on here, both completed and in progress, and this author is hands down the best author of them all so far. Her writing is intelligent and well thought out, her chapters vary in length for the story not for the app, and the plots & character arcs are just… fantastic. 11/10

Bound For 365

Bound For 365

I shot back. They stood there, seething, breathing heavy. I stepped back, forcing them to look at me. “I went into their den. I walked out. I made them agree to prove themselves in seven days. Do you hear me? I got them under my sleeve. You played with 365. I play with seven.” Their mouths fell open. Shock. Silence. “You… what?” Dino whispered. Sandro shook his head, agape. “Seven days…? You dared them?”

Claimed by my ex husband’s uncle

"I need you to mean that." "I mean it," he says. "Absolutely." I breathe. "Thirty-six hours," I say. "Thirty-six hours," he agrees. "Then we go to the EGM and we finish this." "Then we finish this," he says. "Together." I reach across the table and take his hand. He covers mine with both of his. Outside the window the city moves through its ordinary morning, entirely unaware of what is being decided in this room. Thirty-six hours. I can hold anything for thirty-six hours.

Secrets of Time

Secrets of Time

I'm almost at the end of the book that I found a while ago, I'm slowly getting bored as time passes by for it was only useless but what can I do? I need to find something and I can't just discard this book and find another clue without checking all the pages in it. I wasn't really reading it, I was just flipping it till I reached the three-fourth of it. I'm only reading the last and the first sentence to check something that is not connected in it and that is when the content suddenly changed and all of it seems to not be completed. The first ones are about predictions of the past people of what the future will be but this seems to just be added here by someone. I think this book has been ex

HOUR OF THE WOLF

HOUR OF THE WOLF

Her sleep was dreamless until she entered the wolf's hour, inviting her deepest fears back into her mind—the hour between night and dawn when most people die, sleep is the most profound, and nightmares are the most real. Minnow was back in the playground, lying on the wet slimy nature floor. A man was moving his heavy body on top of her suffocating her with his weight. The stranger grunted and moaned in her ear, leaving the side of her face warm and damp from his laboured breaths in the cold night air. Her sex burned like a sharp glowing iron mercilessly and endlessly pierced it. Her core stretched and ripped apart from the ruthless thrust from the man's firm hips.

I entered mine, went through the three books I had gotten from the store, and set them down on the bed. I folded my arms and read their names. The Claiming Rites, Finding the One, and Under the Red Moon. There was no order in which anyone should read these books, so I sat down and picked up The Claiming Rites. After an hour, I finished reading. The book made zero sense, and then I picked up Finding the One and spent another hour reading through it. While the first book was incomplete, the second made a little more sense. I picked up the third, which I had gone to Zion’s room with. I took my time reading, and another hour went by.

I'm finally giving a book 5 stars. the reason is that the story is absolutely amazing! it's so captivating, and I literally fall asleep reading it because I don't want to put it down. there are several grammatical errors, but it does not take away from the book. Harvard to stanford? not good though

So far this is one of the best books I’ve read on this app, the writer is so wonderfully involved welcoming ideas and comments. Which in my opinion shows how much she appreciates her readers. The amount of descriptiveness, information and detail really helps you visualize what your reading. Thanx!!

Frequently Asked Questions

I recently stumbled upon '36 Hours' while browsing through thriller novels, and it quickly became one of my favorites. The author is Boyd Morrison, who has a knack for crafting high-stakes, fast-paced stories. His background in engineering and storytelling gives the book a unique edge, blending technical details with gripping suspense. '36 Hours' is part of the Tyler Locke series, which follows an ex-Army engineer solving life-or-death puzzles. Morrison’s writing style keeps you on the edge of your seat, making it hard to put down.

What I love about Boyd Morrison’s work is how he weaves real-world science into his plots. It’s not just mindless action; there’s a layer of intellectual challenge that makes the story even more engaging. If you’re into thrillers with a smart protagonist and a race against time, this book is a must-read. I also recommend checking out his other works like 'The Ark' and 'The Vault'—they’re equally thrilling.
