Aretha Hawthorne: The Rise Of The Phoenix

Aretha Hawthorne: The Rise Of The Phoenix

But then, I exhale. It’s my last night here. After tonight, I’m walking away from The Gilded Stag. From them. From all of it. Would it really be so bad to give in just this once? A farewell to them, that’s all it would be. With a sigh, I glance between them before finally meeting Cameron’s expectant gaze. “Fine.”

Alpha or Omega

Alpha or Omega

He remembered asking, “The picture came out ugly. Why would you save that?” Something in him tugged painfully when Nathan turned to him with the saddest smile he had ever seen, “I realised I didn't have a recent photo of you… After everything that’s happened and I don’t know about you but, I wanted to take a photo with you. I wanted to capture our last moments together before we part ways… I wanted to take just one last picture with the man who was my best friend.”

I’m back & I’ll try to update as much as possible. & if reality is hindering me from doing so, pls be patient with me. Other than that, I saw comments like there’s a similar novel to mine. First off, I write my novel originally & don’t compare my works with others cuz everyone is different. Thanks.

The story plot are getting more and more interesting!! Please continue writing it out!! I’m intrigued with the novel!! And it seems there’s some power play going on, will there have future battles too?? This isn’t like any other werewolves stories I’ve read before!! It’s really interesting!!

After reading the prologue, I give this a 5-star rating. The author has successfully got my attention, albeit werewolves' stories are not my cup of tea. I can feel the love for the family of a father whose duty is to protect them all cost. Kudos!

I really enjoyed this continuation and I can’t wait to read the next book! I just have so many questions…also what of the King’s quadruplets!? Or perhaps there could be like a spin-off that can dive into the vampire side cause since the first book there has been no mention of Skaii’s sister!

Our Final Goodbye

Our Final Goodbye

I looked up at the giant screen displaying wedding photos of Adrian and me and felt nothing but irony. Three messages popped up on my phone. "Iris, stop making trouble. I've already had the wedding dress cleaned and sent home. Tomorrow, you'll look beautiful wearing the wedding dress I made, and you'll marry me." "I'm calling in all the major media outlets to record this important moment of alliance between our two families." "Iris, I didn't break the promise I made when we were eighteen." Calmly, I pulled out the SIM card and tossed it out the car window. Along with it went my memories of being eighteen.

The Final Goodbye

The Final Goodbye

That was when my phone buzzed with an email. I opened it to find a photo of the endless ocean, its blues merging with the sky. There it was, Wynnie's goodbye note. [Kelvin, if you're reading this, I'm probably gone. I've often pondered the cruel jokes of fate. You gave me your whole heart, but I was blind to my own. Now that I've hurt you enough to drive you away, I realize I can't bear a life without you. You might laugh at my words now.

Before I Go

Before I Go

Connor would rot away the rest of his blind life in prison. I knew I had only moments left before I had to leave him, so I whispered in his ear, "I hope that in my next life, I will never meet someone like you again." I watched as a tear slid down his cheek. Perhaps he had heard me or could sense my presence somehow. No matter. None of that mattered anymore. I could finally move on.

Consider Me Gone

Consider Me Gone

I once believed that I had a place in her heart. However, everything that happened in my previous life made one thing painfully clear: I was never the person she loved. Thinking of that, I let out a long sigh and looked at Rowena as if nothing had happened. I said casually, "Rowena, we're still missing a diamond ring for the wedding. Let's go take a look together."

Until The Last Day

Until The Last Day

Her lips curved into a smile. She turned to the Bride and asked, “What’s happening?!” The Bride only smiled more broadly. “This is your last picture, my dear. The camera always captures the final moment. It knows the ending even before it happens” The man’s voice dropped to a whisper. “All that’s left is to snap it.” Though only one of the candles was lit, suddenly they all blazed up with dark flames, creating dancing shadows around the room. The photographs in the air began to burn one by one, curling into ash—except for hers. It floated slowly toward the camera, which had mysteriously reassembled itself.
