Empty Promises, Full Pockets

Empty Promises, Full Pockets

Almost immediately, she slid into my DMs: [Mrs. Schmidt, I'm not trying to break up your marriage. I just want to have this child. Life is precious.] Wow. She couldn't wait to tell me she was pregnant, like she was doing charity work or something. I left her on read. A few minutes later, she messaged again: [Mrs. Schmidt, I'm telling the truth!] By then, I'd already saved all her posts and photos. Screenshots on lock. Finally, I replied: [What are you saying? You're pregnant? It's Neil's?]

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

** The Broken Promise** The story opens in an elegantly decorated chapel, adorned with white roses and soft candlelight, casting a warm glow over the polished wooden pews. Guests sit in anticipation, murmuring in excitement as a soft melody plays from the string quartet. Outside, the sky is a bright blue, a stark contrast to the storm brewing within the chapel’s grand walls. The air is filled with the sweet scent of flowers and the promise of new beginnings, but the atmosphere is thick with tension.

Strange short stories

Strange short stories

So promise me that you followed the prophecy! The princes, crying too much to protest, agreed and nod. The boy said the prophecy slowly and calmly. "You, who shine as brightly as the sun. Climb the highest mountain, and you will reach the sky! And you, who are white as snow, go to the largest and deepest lake you can find." The princes exchanged looks; they did not want to travel separately. The boy noticed her hesitation and said: "if you don't want to be complete without the other, use these earrings on and if you feel alone, just touch the earrings and think about each other then you will feel connected".

“Daddy, Will You Ever Love Me?”

“Daddy, Will You Ever Love Me?”

"Oh...tomorrow, yes. Tomorrow! What then?" "Well...I'll make sure my phone is on, so you can actually listen in and hear everything too. That should certainly get your motor running. What we'll then do is this. I'll concoct some story about making some sort of promise to you or something, about actually letting him fuck me. Tell him that even though you were ok with me sucking him off, you draw the line at actually fucking him." "I was actually considering doing just that!"

I Seduced My Hopeless Romantic Editor

📖(✿˶˘ ³˘)~♡ MIMO'S POV (。❛ᴗ❛。)📖 I could not sleep peacefully after what I had read in his email! He wanted me to create a ten thousand words short story, and it's romance. I don't have any idea right now, and no plots are coming to my mind. I check the time, and it's already 10 am. I didn't even type a single word on my laptop. I would like to know why he suddenly asked me to create a story!

A Reluctant Promise

A Reluctant Promise

When she opened them again, Dominic, perhaps trying to dispel the lingering awkwardness, casually asked, “What did you wish for? Is there any gift you’d like?” Valerie looked at him for a moment, her gaze calm yet distant. Then, in a steady voice, she answered. “I wished that I’d get married this year.”

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

I bought the candles on sale. I looked at the screen. At the three years of a story that had produced a woman who could type that first line without any grief in it and with nothing but the clear, useful truth of an experience that had built something real. Julian came to the doorway. "Dinner," he said. "One minute," I said. He came to look at the screen. Read the title. Read the first line. Was quiet for a moment. "Write it," he said. "I'm thinking about it," I said.

This is the kind of story that lingers in your mind long after you close the app. The story deserves far more recognition than it's getting because the author knows exactly how to keep readers emotionally hostage....️

To anyone settling for crumbs of love. I would recommend this story. Natalie proved that losing someone who never valued you isn’t a loss…it’s freedom. One of the most emotionally satisfying stories I’ve read so far. Once again I recommend reading this blockbuster story. Kudos to the author.
