I keep eye contact with him as I nod. “What’s the prize?” a smile was spreading across his eager face. “Me.” “What’s the game?” he asks. “Simple. Hide ‘n’ seek!” His head bobs up and down as his eyes run over me. I watch as he takes a deep inhale of my scent. “Count to fifty. Do not leave the house or its game over and you won't get me!” He closes his eyes and starts counting as I run as quickly as I can through the house, rubbing my scent on to things.

The corner of my lips rosed. “Feisty, eh?” he smiles, and his eyebrows wiggled. “You wanna know a fun fact about me?” I wanted to say that I don’t fucking care, but he cut me off. “I love to hide and seek. So, hide your secret well, my dear, because I am the one who is seeking. But the moment that the game is over, say goodbye to your child, Little Cameron.” He plastered an evil smile on his face. My heart keeps on pounding so hard as if it will jump out of its ribcage.

"You said it yourself, you know nothing about this world, but I do so do as I say!" Kiran bitterly pouted and pressed her forehead against the cold stone pillar. "Now count from one to a hundred," the young man said. "Is this going to take me back home?" Kiran anxiously asked, glancing back at him. "Are you going to disobey the only person here who knows what all of this is?" the young man asked. Kiran narrowed her eyes at him for a moment. "I'm may not be an expert at Hide and Seek but I will not give up until I find you if you try to hide from me," she warned.

“Silly, the rule is simple: you have to hide while the rest of us go on a scavenger hunt, searching for your whereabouts. The person who finds you will have to take you on a solo mission - all by themselves. Everyone else has to stay behind and wait until their return. It's an exciting game, that much is certain - not knowing where someone is hiding creates an air of mystery and anticipation that's hard to ignore.” After hearing the rule uttered, I noticed both Aiden and Adam standing upright in anticipation; their postures suddenly rigid with excitement. I glanced over at them and could tell they were ready to start playing. Everything had been made clear to them and they were confident in

He mumbled that name. “Yes?” He went muted. “Ummm… because the night is still young, just 2 in the morning, we have plenty of time to be spent together.” Something was wrong, he could tell. “How about we play games? Do you know about hide-and-seek?” ‘At the small empty space? I don’t think so.’ He shook his head. “Good. we will play the game. You will hide and I will find you. If I catch you, we will just sacrifice any part of your body. Easy ain’t it?”

It was going to be fun. “I love hide and seek,” he whispered as he turned around, confident gaze sweeping the room. “You’re sneaky, I like that.” He placed the jug on the bedside table. He peeked under the bed, finding no one. “Where are you?” He put one foot in front of the other, strode to the closet like the predator he was—chest puffed and shoulders squared. He stretched his neck, hearing a satisfying crack when he opened the door with a malicious grin that almost split his face. “Peek-a-boo.”

She is definitely messing with me right now and I don't know how she's doing it. "Two seekers, one prey, not a bad idea," Everest said, grinning and I glared at him, not liking this one bit. How was I supposed to win this when I have two people searching for me and they just weren't anyone, they were my mates! "You know how it's done boys. Count from one to twenty while she hides. Your ten minute duration starts the moment you hit twenty," she said.

He hastily turned his head to the professor and tried to pick up the conversation. “Since everyone was tired, this game is fair. Are you ready?” Lawrence asked. It didn’t help anything. Sebastian was clueless about what was going on. “I will close my eyes and start to count,” Lawrence said. “One!” “Sebastian! Quick!” Agatha said before she ran away. Standing still, Sebastian saw his other group mates running around the area and hiding. It was then he realized that they were playing hide and seek. ‘Isn’t this childish?’ He thought. It was because he didn’t hear the rest of the rules and that he could not understand why it was so important to the other members. Anyway, Sebastian looked for a p

The innocent and oblivious holder smiles and responds. “A game? What kind of a game?” Holding her by the neck as the perfect brew of time is just getting heavenly in a hellish way in return. He then said. “A game of hiding and seek.”

“The rules are the same. The children will hide and the parents will find them.” Sounds simple. “But buckle up everyone because this won’t be a usual hide-and-seek game. There’s a twist.”
