One Mate And A Rejection Novels & Stories

She wanted me to calm down, but I just couldn’t. I hurried to pack up my belongings in hopes of making a quick escape. I’d be doing us both a favor. I still didn’t really want a mate and it was doubtful that he’d want me as a mate. It had only been 2 weeks since the last mate's rejection. I tried to act tough about it but Maya and I still hurt. It sucks to know you’re not wanted. And that someone thinks you’re trash when they know absolutely nothing about you. I handled the first rejection well enough. Why can’t I cope with even the thought of this one?

“There is a catch, for you to know who your true mate is, then you have to reject one to know the other. But be careful to not reject your true mate or you will regret it for the rest of your life. When you reject whichever mate you want to, they have to accept your rejection or it will also cause doom to you” She instructed him throwing the stones to the green mat laid on the floor. “How is that supposed to make sense, you are taking me back to square one” he complained, her answer didn’t sound like a solution to him rather it felt like another puzzle put in place that he didn’t have to know. Right now he wasn’t in the mood to solve puzzles neither riddles, he needed answers.

I don’t know why the idea of mates is on my mind so much. There is so much more to life than meeting my mate, don’t get me wrong, the idea of meeting and falling in love with the one person who is made just for me is the best thing. I just don’t know why it’s on my mind so much lately. I have a training plan to update, but I can’t focus. I go between being excited at meeting my mate to being terrified that he will reject me. It’s not common for a wolf to reject their mate, but it happens. Once rejected, both wolves become weak. Sometimes the one who was rejected commits suicide and becomes rogue.

I nodded and thought about what he said “ I’ll do that. Can I ask you something else?” Dad nods “ Of course.” “ When you told me about mates you never mentioned what if we reject our mates. And how is it done?” I said. My dad falls back in his seat and looks at me like I just sucker punched him. “ Why would you want to know about that? Rejecting a mate given to by the Goddess herself goes against everything we believe in.” “ What if the mate she has chosen isn’t a good one? What if the Goddess made a mistake and gave me an inferior make. Not someone good for a person in my position?” I asked. Then I continued “ Is there a second chance mate? And how do you reject your first mate?”

I say and shake my head. Nikolai rejected her in the worst possible way and called out her flaws. Even if it wasn’t him at the time, the rejection is still there, and now they have to suffer the consequences. Rejected mates will never find happiness again unless the other dies. But even then, the female will be barren, and the male will never produce an heir.

"You're the one that needs that question. Do you want me to take you back in and chain you down and let my sister torture you?" "I was talking about mate... rejection," he told me and coughed, adverting his eyes. Finding your real mate is so rare... but there is a way to make fate pick someone else, and that is through either killing them or through mate rejection. Usually that doesn't happen though because the two are overjoyed about finding each other. I frowned towards him. "I'm never going to reject you," I told him firmly. "That's not something I believe in. So you've better figure out where your place is." He frowned at me.

“Yes, he is! How can you—how dare you say that?” But Mason’s voice softened—not in weakness, but in deep sorrow. “If he were your fated mate… he couldn’t have rejected you so easily. Seeing you with someone else should’ve broken him. Watching you suffer should’ve destroyed him.” Her chest tightened, torn between rage and the painful truth of his words. “And how would you even know?” she bit back. “You didn’t marry your mate either. You never found her. So don’t talk to me about pain you haven’t lived.”

"And I already am in love with Hailey, and I can't leave her for a slave slut" He said his words hitting home. "So I'm here to reject you" My heart flipped into my stomach at the mention of rejection. "I Alpha Ethan Woodley rejects ye Elora Whiteford as my mate and luna" He said pain flashing in his eyes but was gone in a matter of seconds. "Accepting it would help reduce the pain" He said softly. Softly, who am I kidding? Ethan speaks to me softly. It seems like I'm going crazy already. "Uh alright-"

Once again, the curious Francis never failed to amaze the teacher and the parents, especially Zainne. "Good question." She leaned back in her chair and smiled. "A mate never rejects her other half, when they first lay eyes on each other, their love will form and they will feel complete. It is unheard of for a rejected mate. But the rumors say the one who rejects his mate will perish."
