I got to the throne room, and I sighed, looking at Asher. “We have been waiting for you,” he said, walking towards me. “Sorry, I ran into a minor mishap,” I said. “Are you okay?” he asked, looking over my body. I chuckled. “I am fine,” I said. “Okay, let’s go,‘’ he said, calling Snow. Well, Snow is Sky’s daughter, I know. Very ironic. That damn hellhound has been getting freaky, and we all had no idea it was Zira who found out and told us. Now we have plenty of hellhounds, as Sky and his wife, as we call her, won’t stop having more puppies. But it is not a bad thing; they are all cute. Archie and Dean got one hellhound, and the rest are here, but Snow is my favourite, and I named her persona

The icy wind seeped in through the gaps in the window, cold enough to make anyone shiver. Once I had calmed myself down, I paid no more attention to Tasha. When night fell, my neighbor, Sandra Hart, knocked on my door. "Dr. Miller, there's someone out here who looks like she's about to freeze to death. Do you know her?" Winter temperatures in Snowstead were always in the negatives. Tasha sat in front of the door, almost buried under the heavy snowfall. She had never been able to adapt to Snowstead's altitude. With altitude sickness and a raging fever on top of it, there was a real chance she could freeze to death out here.

Not too much sugar.” Theo accepted the bag. “Thank you, Adrian.” Julian checked the car and the security detail before giving me a small nod. Adrian lowered his voice. “Let me take you this far. I won’t follow you past the airport.”

A few weeks passed uneventfully until the season of the island gradually changed. Winter was close, and it could be felt in the chilly air. Flakes of snow began to drop from the sky, tiny silver flakes that melted the moment they touched the ground. The sky turned really cloudy, hiding the sun behind a thick curtain of fluffy white clouds. Layla who had never seen snow in her entire life was ecstatic at the sight of the silver flakes. She stretched her hand over the balcony in Riven's room and tried to capture the tiny flakes that fell from the sky.

Nier’s expression stiffened as she looked at Snow being in pain, but she could feel the refreshment of revenge. He laughed in victory, enjoying it.

Happy asked, and Snow placed her hand on her forehead. “Something... someone is in danger,” she muttered. Her head hurt. The voice had returned whispering thoughts into her mind. They were too loud, too much to comprehend. Something wasn’t right. She had seen something she shouldn’t have. It was a blonde. There was a sword made of wolfsbane in her hand, and she had slashed through a female werewolf’s gut. The girl was curled up on the ground in pain. “You can’t save them. You can’t save her. You can’t save anyone,” the blonde muttered. She moved fast, and in a blink, she was standing in front of Snow, plunging the sword into her chest.

Chapter 7: Desert Snow Abhay’s P.O.V It was snowing. The ground was completely white. It had snowed overnight and now the tiny yellow blossoms that looked like miniature sunflowers were buried under three feet of fresh snow, their petals crushed under the heavy weight. It was going to be a long, cold year ahead and the snow has only just begun.

"But it's annoying when you're able to tell when I'm giving excuses." "You're just predictable." I tease her. "Right." "Take off your clothes and let's get in the water." Snow groans but takes off her clothes, leaving her underwear on. "I think peach is my new favourite colour." I say to her while admiring her in her underwear. I earn a playful eye roll from Snow. "It's cold." "It is. But once you get into the water, you won't feel cold anymore." I take her hand and then slowly, we walk towards the lake. Biscuit playfully runs after us and jumps into the water, playing with it.

I breathe, looking back over my shoulder at the silent creature, standing amidst the snow flurries. Upon looking closer, I realise that it can’t possibly be Tai. The figure if different, this person taller with a sturdier build. The Snow Demon can only extract so much of my memory to use it to recreate a person, and now, I can see it’s inconsistencies. Suddenly, Nakoa lets out the most blood-curdling scream I have ever heard. She takes off through he snow, sprinting for her life.
