And Ophelia saw some truth in his words. "What's your name?" Ophelia inquired, folding her arms across her chest. "Gabe, my lady," "Gabe, you're right." The page he had opened was burnt off. “This is the second book with Odette that has a page missing just when it's about to become about her!” he declared, the tone of his voice increasing in irritation. My heart dropped to my stomach once more as I quickly flipped through the pages of the book in my hands. She held out the book to Noah, wanting to part with it as soon as possible. Noah gladly took it before he turned to her. “Want to switch?” he said holding out his book. “It’s about a hero fighting to change the world.” Ophelia eyed the book hesitantly, wondering if another fairytale would poke another of her fresh wounds. In the end, she took it. Losing her mind for even a second while reading was a better bargain than leaving it to misery to be consumed. She eyed the hardcover allowing her fingers to trace the embroidered title.

I pressed it gently, and a small compartment creaked open. Inside was a worn, leather-bound book. Dust covered it like a veil. On the front, the faint outline of a moon glimmered when the light hit it. The Moon Book. Jorge had once mentioned it...the old records of prophecies and bloodlines. I thought it was just one of his old stories meant to keep me hopeful during the worst nights. I sat on the nearest chair, brushing the dust away. The leather was cracked, soft at the corners. My fingers trembled as I opened it.

Alexander was surprised because with the entirety of the space, there is only a jade bed, on top of the Jade bed was a book made from unknown and rare materials with a jade slip and tablet.
