The second died when a suspended engine block came crashing down from above. The third bled out after stumbling onto exposed metal spikes I had positioned beneath loose boards. The others became cautious after that. Unfortunately, caution came too late. I knew that building, but they did not. It wasn't my first time entering that space. I knew where they would search.
