"His body is in a hospital in DC. Brain dead. Flatlined. Because they wiped his mind from the server." The press erupts. Flashbulbs explode like a strobe light. Shouting. Screaming. "DID YOU KILL HIM?" "IS DIGITAL MURDER REAL?" "ARE YOU ASSASSINS?" I stare at the screen. The footage looks real. It is real footage, but the context is twisted. "They're murderers," Evelyn says, leaning back in her chair, exhausted but triumphant. "Arrest them." Security guards—not the hotel staff, but men in suits—move toward the stage.

The second died when a suspended engine block came crashing down from above. The third bled out after stumbling onto exposed metal spikes I had positioned beneath loose boards. The others became cautious after that. Unfortunately, caution came too late. I knew that building, but they did not. It wasn't my first time entering that space. I knew where they would search. They did not know where I was hiding. One by one, they disappeared. One by one, they died. The room remained silent. Nobody interrupted. Even Elliot looked stunned. I continued. "I did not sleep."

POV: ALEXANDER. The murder case was slowly beginning to die down to my dismay, because there were no clues nor directions to the case. Even on Xavier's side, nothing was forth coming. Like a well planned act, the cameras of the building had been shot down few hours before the event even began and the guards in charge were spiked by an unknown person. On my own end, the pain of my mother's death was long buried, by the excruciating pain of knowing how much she must have suffered before she died. And with the way this case was going, everyone was gradually loosing hope.

Tom barked, as he could clearly hear the boom from the other end. Fred promptly sprinted out of the office, bellowing at the security guards who were running too, "What the hell is going on?!" "B-block blew up! Several floors collapsed!" a security guard replied, having heard everything from his colleagues over the walkie-talkie. "Fuck! Fred, you incompetent piece of shit!" Tom heard that report clearly and saw red as he picked up his laptop and slammed it on the floor, leaving it in pieces. Not content, he smashed his phone on the floor too.

A sound of something being dragged closer made me freeze up again. I turned around to look at the corner door that was wide open. Carleon whistled as he dragged one of Humbert Bale's legs, pulling him back into the room. His whistle stopped and was replaced by a grin when he saw me again. He effortlessly gathered the fifth victim and placed him beside the others, just like in his narration earlier. Five people murdered for embezzlement of company funds.

The lens on the security camera that sticks off the far-right corner of the building shatters. The sound is muted by the club’s music. Mila clicks her tongue in annoyance before taking out the second camera. “Show off,” she mumbles. “It’s not a contest,” I say with a half-smirk.

“This stays between us okay?” “Of course!” naturally huddling in closer as if anyone in the pipework could possibly hear us whispering over the chaos outside. Doors were banging open and shut, someone had got access to a machine gun. There were howls, the music played then stopped. A female screamed as people continued sprinting around the bunker. “We’ve been taking her fancy furs and shitting on them. Well Sol pissed on one to be accurate but still. It was a laugh you know…but now we’re starting to think it’s been a huge fuck-up.”

Vincent tapped his fingers on the desk. "This meeting has something to do with stupidity," Vincent said then he looked at the five associate who was now bowing their heads. Kingston puffed his cigarette. "There's no room for stupidity here, people." "You're the—" Vladimir's speech was interrupted when an extremely loud bomb explode in the mansion. It was unannounced however every one of them managed to cover themselves. But just when they thought that it's over another bomb exploded. "Oh fuck let's get out of here!" Vincent shouted.

“YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!” screams Angel, her voice lace with anger. “This is CODE BLACK” Then if that wasn’t enough to scare someone shitless does the sound of a gun going off drive the point home. POP! POP! POP! Quick to muffle my screams do I instantly remember a time when I walked in on Lucus and Grant. Both in a room much similar to this before they too ended up killing four people. A terrifying sight to behold and yet I wish I didn’t all at the same time.
