She was strong and wicked smart. I left my office and walked down the black marble halls of the Onyx packhouse. It was mid-July and sweltering hot outside, but the cool marble of the hallways kept the pack house temperate. I walked outside to the back of the house and looked over the small glacial lake that guarded our northern border. Onyx was based up at the top of Silverthorne Mountain in the northern coastal mountains of British Columbia. There was a snowpack at the top of the peak that remained all seasons, and the lake was frozen over the majority of the year. However, from June to August the blistering heat melted the lake and made the alpine wildflowers bloom, turning the meadows int

Chapter 119 Phoenix settled into the passenger seat and they sat in a silence that had the particular texture of two people in the presence of information they were still organizing. Orion was looking straight ahead through the windshield with the expression he wore when he was being careful about the order in which he said things. "So," he said finally. "So," Phoenix agreed. "Dante Archer," Orion said, in the tone of someone beginning a summary, "who is Ravyn's partner—" "who is the younger brother of Miles Archer, who is also the father figure to Ravyn's child, who lives in a two-bedroom apartment on an art teacher's salary despite having access to a trust fund he hasn't touched in six yea

But when she remembered why she came in here, she turned to him and said, “The Onyx Clan told everyone who owes the Xander family money to gather at Neptune’s Cove tomorrow. You’ll be going there to collect the money from them.” “Nice! They sure have really good organization skills!” Kiran said with no hint of fear. Snow’s eyes were filled with rage, and she thought to herself. “He’s such an idiot!” She suppressed her anger and said, “The Onyx Clan is the most powerful organization in Bayville. They’re the kingpins of the underground and have hundreds of members! They—” “Are you afraid that you’ll become a widow?” Kiran was puzzled as he interrupted her. In an instant, Snow’s concern vanishe

I explained. "He said he doesn't know when but he believes it would happen soon or maybe later, he just wants me to be alerted," I continue, giving it to him to read. "That's would be impossible right, wolves don't communicate with vampires," I said but Damon didn't seem quite surprised. "Onyx does," he replied. "How, how did he find a way to settle them and how are you aware?" I questioned him. I found out during my little investigation that Onyx supplies Mecha to them along with omegas to be sex toys for them," he explained..

Onyx doesn't hesitate and jumps on top of the wolf just before it launches Hunter from behind and instantly sinks his teeth into the wolf's neck before ripping out his throat. Onyx turns around to see Hunter still fighting the other wolf and just when he runs up to help a loud alarm pounds through the air. It hurts my ears and all the wolves stop fighting. Onyx tries to cover his ears when all Jack's men run off. That can't be good.

What did that mean? I shook Luca’s hand and said hello before Colt finished, “And that is Onyx Bourbon, our top Delta.” When I looked at Onyx I was taken aback for a moment. He looked so serious with those dark eyes and that dark brown hair. He almost looked brooding and angry at the world, yet he wasn’t. He looked at me as if I was the most mesmerizing sight in all of mankind. I moved forward to shake his hand and before I could register what was happening, Onyx had wrapped his impressively strong and soft arms around me and was giving me a hug.

Jacob sneered. “Exactly… No!” I put the pressure on word No! Fiarra chuckled and replied, “we are better in everything from humans, onyx! We have schools and hospitals, a library and grocery stories in the pack. The whole place is similar to a small town but clean and pollution free.” “That’s right sis! Onyx will have it hard spending time with other wolves as he had lived a life like an ordinary human. I still doubt that he is a werewolf.” I smiled but I wanted to strangle a rude man.

he said to her before they walked out. As it turned out, Dennis hadn't been exaggerating when he had called the division Olympus. It was, in fact, an Olympus. From what Megan could deduce from the chilly, seemly thin air that greeted them immediately they stepped out into the open, the building was actually constructed within a mountain to open at its top through the passageway they had taken. Everywhere she looked, bright blue afternoon sky stretched as far as she could see; a great silence reigning over the environment to be punctuated every few seconds by the sound of waves crashing against rocks below.
