All these feelings seemed to envelop my entire body, making me feel like there was no way out of this sadness. I grabbed my phone from my bedside table and opened the photo app. I scrolled through old pictures, looking for something to cheer me up. When I saw the pictures of me and Erlan, my longing deepened. Every picture and moment made me feel sadder, remembering how happy we were together. With a heart full of sadness, I closed the photo app and put my phone back down.
