Opposites Attract

Opposites Attract

She walk away with out a backward glance. "She really hates me Frank!" Douglas said sadly. "No! It's not that. It is just the working of a woman's mind just don't stop to win her favor she will get around. For what it's worth there's a thin line between love and hate. You will be anxious if she does react to your presence, it means she doesn't care. Indifference is the opposite of love remember that."

Unwritten Spring Unending Sorrow

Unwritten Spring Unending Sorrow

I knew you didn't do anything wrong, but I still got you tangled up in this mess. Before I could finish reading the text, a tidal wave of emotion hit me, and my phone slipped from my limp fingers, crashing to the ground. I crouched down, cradling my head in my arms, as tears of utter hopelessness streamed down my face. My world used to be a place of endless gray. Loving Thomas was like a beacon in the darkness, my second faith. All of a sudden, they were telling me... It was all a lie... All those moments of misguided love, the feelings I poured out, the pain I went through… It was all one big, cruel joke.

Of All Sorrows, Love Is the Deepest

Of All Sorrows, Love Is the Deepest

"I wish I could forget. Those memories are simply too painful for me, yet every scar reminds me that I can't." Karina was about to continue, but Nicholas couldn't bear to listen any longer. His Adam's apple bobbed as everything he had planned to say before coming was swallowed back down by the weight of each scar. What else could he say? All the words he had prepared now boiled down to just one sentence. "I'm sorry. I didn't know. I truly didn't know. I was deceived too." Karina felt even more disappointed. "You keep saying you've repented, but you still don't understand where you went wrong. Rowena is indeed despicable, but none of you are innocent either."

February 15th, 2038--Freshman Year-ish "I can't believe I'm actually writing in this. Dear Diary--no that's too cliche. Dear... me? Okay, Dear me: I saw a flier for some anti-New World organization. I thought that everyone blindly followed the established social order. It's probably stupid to think that I'm the only one who opposes the government, though. I just thought something was wrong with me. Maybe a group of likeminded people is what I need to feel some... I don't know, purpose or something. I'm not that stupid, though. I know not to tell any adults about this. What I don't get is why the flier was posted where anyone could see. They probably underestimate the government, but I know t

SORRY, NOT YOURS ANYMORE

SORRY, NOT YOURS ANYMORE

My mother’s eyes tore to him, and the smile fell off his face. “I kind of miss it,” Uncle Stephan said, before sipping from the glass of water. “I just kind of feel empty.” Yeah. Yeah. He wasn’t the only one feeling empty here—I was. I wanted to feel sympathetic but it was kind of hard when all I could think of was getting fucked by him. My father smiled at him, his gaze filled with sympathy. “It’s understandable, I mean you’ve been with her for over twenty years.” He turned to my mother. “I can’t imagine my life with Sarah.”

Fate. They call it destiny or kismet. A time comes in life when there's so much happiness that getting something more than what you expected felt surreal, a figment of imagination. As if just the deepest yearning dream of yours comes alive. Your ear rings with a constant numbing feeling of the words that you yearned to hear for years. The words that now repeat in your head like a mantra of lullaby. Calming and serene. Then denial and disbelief kicked in. Questions raking one after the other. It was impossible but then again nothing was impossible for God. When with all your will you try to wake up from the blissful dream but nothing happens.

This is a book to read!!! It takes you on a roller-coaster of emotions but is worth it. It's a relatively short novel but worth the read. I don't think I have ever read a book that made me feel so much. All I can say is WOW, what a Jewel of a book.

The Art of Revenge

The Art of Revenge

Serena sneered coldly, staring at the face she once loved so deeply. It had been love at first sight back then. But now, when she looked at him, her heart was calm—untouched, unshaken. The greatest sorrow is when the heart dies. The true opposite of love isn’t hate—it’s indifference. And that’s exactly what she felt for him now. No anger. No pain. Just silence. The Art of Revenge was never about rage—it was about letting go. She didn’t need to destroy them. Her joy was the masterpiece. And they would suffer, helplessly, watching her shine.

My Rise From The Ashes After Divorce

My Rise From The Ashes After Divorce

I will make myself happy and a man will on be an addition to my happiness. Deep within me, a flicker of resolve ignited. I realized it was time to transform my sorrow into strength. Like those resilient seeds waiting in the ash, I too could rise. It was time to reclaim my life from the frailty of grief and rebuild among the ruins—to pull myself from the ashes of my past and carve out a new beginning, one shimmering with the promise of hope.

Forsaken

Forsaken

I sob against his shoulder, no longer able to keep quiet with his supportive arms caging me in. He holds me tight, rubbing my back soothingly while his own chest hiccups with small, quiet cries. I let my fingers dig into his shirt as we mourn the lost presence of our pup together. “I miss him s-so much,” I whisper through my cries, biting my lip when Dominic pulls me even closer. “I miss him too,” Dominic promises, his voice heavy and cracked with the same raw emotion I’d been drowning in since that horrible night. “But we’ll find him, Cara. We’ll make it right. We’ll fix this.”
