Original Hybrid Novels & Stories

Frowning deeply I clenched my jaw tight, was he making fun of me right now, what was so funny about what I had said? “If not kill me then what!?” I said instantly annoyed with him. Looking up at me he sighed as another soft sheepish smile spread across his face, “You’re virginity is the fascination Laya, I think if I mate with you he’ll back off,” “Mate with me?” nodding he smirked, “Laya do you have any real idea what a hybrid is?” swallowing hard she looked down. Besides being a freak, a virus, something that shouldn’t exist. What else is there?”

The pain wasn’t just physical—it was an all-consuming agony that clawed at my very being. How could I ever let my mom see me like this? How could I make her understand that I wasn’t normal, that I wasn’t fully human? A hybrid of wolf and fox—two creatures that had been at odds for as long as time itself. The very nature of my existence was a contradiction, a fracture in the natural order. I clenched my stomach as another wave of pain wracked my body. My vision blurred, my pupils rolling back into my eyelids. Through the shaded bathroom door, I could faintly see a figure.

He's refusing to survive without me. The light explodes across the street. The supernatural world shakes and when the light fades, Adrian and I are still bonded, still conscious, and still alive but something fundamental has changed. Adrian's aura is different now. It has silver streaks running through the gold. My essence mixed with his. His strength mixed with mine. We're not just mates and mate anymore. We're one. Catherine steps back. Her expression is knowing. "The first true hybrid pair," she says quietly. "Not bonded, not mated but… Merged."

Pressing her ear against it, she could hear whispering. "I got word from a friend I made on my travels. The Grey Mountain Pack I do believe, then again I could be wrong. I don't keep up with the pack's names and borders. I was surprised to hear that a hybrid was not only in a pack but possibly the mate to the alpha! Now I find out not only is it true, but you are also a hybrid. So, I've decided to help a fellow hybrid out. You're welcome." Sarcasm laced those two little words. Vicky was making it harder and harder to trust or even like her.

Selene said, I kissed her to shut her up; the second I pulled away, I grabbed her face and smiled, “That was incredible!” I told her, “You really are a powerful witch.” Amber said, “A powerful witch with little control.” Grandfather told her, I stared at him for a moment, “What do you mean?” I asked, he sat us all down as he began to explain, “A half blood witch isn’t too powerful, but still enough to be a little scared of. A full blooded witch, if terrifying and is definitely someone to fear. But a hybrid,” he looked at Selene, “There’s never been a hybrid witch of all three: a werewolf, a vampire, and a witch. Not to mention having witches in both bloodlines.”

The Alpha of the last pack I was in knew about it, and said it might have been because I was a Hybrid that I was able to shift before my 18th birthday. Bella then asked what a Hybrid was and I told her, “A hybrid is a shifter of 2 or more different species of shifter, there are many kinds of shifters in this world. Shifters can be Wolf, Dragon, Pixie, Fae, Fairy, Bear, Lion, Tiger, Jaguar, Swan, Eagle, Hawk, Leopard, Gryffin, Unicorn, Centar, Goose, Lycan, Fox, Coyote, etcetera. For example my mom is a Witch but she is also a Wolf shifter, and my dad is a Dragon shifter. So for myself, I have both the genes of Dragon and Wolf shifter in my DNA and I might get the dragon side, but I might not

That might be where my answers lied. I walked towards it mostly separated from the rest of the room. I ignored the sign that warned not to trespass. My eyes scanned the sectional until one spine caught my attention. Its title was barely legible: "On the Origin of the Hybrid, Vamps & Wolves. I pulled it down with both hands. Not bothering to return to the study area, I flipped it open and began reading. The first hybrids had been forged during the Great War—when witches threatened to tip the balance of power. Werewolves and vampires, in desperation, combined their forces… and their bloodlines.

he told me. It took me a moment to realise that he meant 'abomination'. They called him that. I'd heard a lot of people call me that, too. Did that mean he was a hybrid, too? "Are you....a hy-brid, too?" I managed to ask. "What is that?" He asked, sounding thoroughly confused. I had a feeling his vocabulary was limited. Or maybe he was too drugged up to understand much. Something told me it was the former. How to explain this, though? "A hybrid is....some-one who is half were-wolf...and half...witch," I explained slowly.

Annette said, "I've told you. That's off the table." "What? He doesn't admit that you are his mate?" Roxanne asked immediately. "Roxanne, he is not the one for me." Annette's expression became a little serious. "And I am not the one for him, either." "Why?" "You know, I am a rogue and a hybrid. How can the Blood Moon Pack accept a Luna like me?" Roxanne looked at Annette worriedly and asked, "Is there anyone from the Blood Moon Pack objecting to you?"

Eventually, when they were all sold, he would have to make more, and who better to show them their purpose and protect them than a former experiment? It didn't matter what they were being sold for. They were all going once their numbers dwindled. It was happening in all seven contenents and across all one hundred ninety-five countries around the world. Hybrid trading had been a big thing since humans started messing with animal DNA and making the first hybrids. Back then, they were called Chimera's, but it was such a duragatory term. Hybrids quickly became the new word for the new pets popping into the world. "Alright, that's enough! Back to your rooms, children." They all did as they were t
