The Hamiltons family. ~~~~~~~~~~ Philip sat in his CEO's office, looking at the newspapers on the table. They were all papers portraying the bad side of the CRUZ company. The foolish ones were making fun of the slow downfall of the company and it weighed on Philip. He hadn't received any report from Gabriel yet and it seemed like the company's name was being soiled day by day. Carmen stepped into the office with a file, she had been called to resume her duty as a secretary after Philip came back. He liked having her around and didn't want any other secretary except her. "Maestro Felipe, the president wants to see you." She said.

I was broken from the trance. "They call themselves the Nymphets. But they spell it with an 'I' instead of a 'y' which I think is dumb to me," She said. 'Kelderrrrr..." A soft voice sang out in my head. I immediately knew it was one of them. The one that was actually sitting on the cars bonnet—seemed to be their leader—was smiling at me. She twisted strands of her purple hair in-between her fingers. Tia nudged me again—even more painfully than the first.

The contrast of her—soft, warm, and expressive—against the darkness of the underground fighting world made her look like something otherworldly. And for some goddamn reason, Kane liked hearing her talk. Which was new. He pulled off his hoodie, leaving him in his fitted white t-shirt. He heard her inhale sharply, her green eyes flickering to his exposed arms, where ink covered his skin. The dim lighting in the car made her red hair shine. He smirked as he started the car. "So, uhmm..." she cleared her throat, shifting in her seat. "How old are you?" Kane kept his eyes on the road. "Twenty-nine. You?"

“Yeah, that’s Logan Carter.” There was a round of Oh's and ahs from the group at the window. I heard my phone buzz on the table with a notification. I closed my laptop down and grabbed my things. A lot of the office stayed at the window watching as I exited. I must admit they were correct; he looked exceptional. He was wearing dark jeans, a crisp white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He was leaning against the bonnet of a car I didn’t recognise.

Said the Queen. Carla,who had been fighting beside. Turned her gaze into her daughter,she could see the hope fading in her eyes. She held both of Carmen's hands. "You never miss a target. Do what you know. Use your power."She said. She then continued to fight. Carmen picked up rocks from the ground and began to attack the Aotan warrior's. They did not die, but they did become unconscious. King Cyrus used his sword to kill the warrior's that were coming into his direction. They were seventeen in total.

"As for me... I've moved on. I'm married. And I'm pregnant." Without another word, she turned and walked away. Behind the glass, Brad's face completely shattered. "No... NO!" Next, I went to see Hazel. She met my gaze with a startling, hollow calm. "If I had another chance, I would win," she said. "Just wait, Carmen. I'll be reborn soon, and I'll find you." Even after living through all of this, she was still so foolish. Foolish enough to believe the universe would simply hand her another try.

“Beanie what do you want to show me?” Carmine enters the room and stops in his tracks “Larisa and Ossian. Damn, it’s going to take a few minutes to absorb this. But it’s good to see you both.” He walks over to shake Ossian’s hand and hugs Larisa, “beautiful as ever.”

That meant one thing. Luke was cleaning up. Carmen took a slow breath, straightened her posture, and picked up her phone. If she couldn’t reach Abigail directly, she would have to find another way. She scrolled through her contact list until she stopped at a familiar name Obetta. A sly smile touched her lips. Obetta was impulsive, vain, and easily swayed by charm. She had a certain playful confidence and a grudge toward Abigail that Carmen could use. Without hesitation, Carmen dialed her number.

Carmen ordered, a bit surprised by the authority in her voice. The disturbance stopped. Carmen had fished out her Glock which she had realized only later in her 'past lives' that she had had with her. She aimed into the dark, slowly advancing forward through the boxes. Another disturbance filled the room just before something hit the ground a foot ahead of her. Carmen squinted in the dim light and was able to make out what it was. A disc driver with LED lights flickering as if there was a disc inside. Crouching, Carmen tapped on a button labelled 'PLAY' next to another label 'BLUETOOTH'.

And much to my annoyance, Carmen hurried to the other side and got into the car before I could drive out. What kind of a stubborn softie was Carmen Vega?
