Our Fate Novels & Stories

I was a tool. Once out of order, I had no value. I pulled out the IV needle. Blood stained the sheets. I didn't bandage it. I just stared at the red stain. Something inside me died completely. I went to find the Witch of the Black Forest. I asked her, "How can my wolf completely give up on a fated mate?" The Witch stirred her potion, her black eyes staring at me. "Your wolf is stubborn. If I sever the bond now, the pain will destroy your soul. You will become a cripple."

By the time I was thirty-two, I had already made the billionaire list. Joel, having performed well in prison, was released early. He said he wanted to see me one last time. I agreed. In the coffee shop downstairs from my company, he looked weathered and hesitant as he asked, “If there’s a next life, if I don’t say those things… Will we still have a chance to be together?” I looked down and took a sip of my latte. Then, expressionless, I told him, “People’s inherent flaws are in their bones. Sooner or later, they will surface. Asking this is meaningless.”

"Fiona Katherine Winchester breaks up with Sebastian Prime over spilt wine. Most coveted Female Billionaire is once again single." Curse Sebastian and my Mother, my upcoming weeks were going to be a living hell, I was sure of it.

I sighed, looking at her. "I wouldn't go as far as saying you're completely wrong, Sophie, but there's something intriguing about fate. It suggests a preordained path, a connection that transcends circumstances. Take my Uncle Vino, for instance; he can't stand Cain Island, so he never took his children there. Yet, somehow, Caspian and Charlotte found each other. It's as if an unseen force brought them together. Caspian wasn't actively seeking Charlotte; He was simply sent on a mission to solve a problem, and fate intervened to unite them. Harper and I never intended to stay in Lumas, let alone become friends with Jacob, but it happened. No matter how hard Jacob tried, she couldn't progress b

she shakes her head, he hates our kind, “your fate with him had come in a different way than it was supposed to, you were to reject him and you did, but it was for him to change how he was acting, leading his wolves but he sealed his own fate.” She stood and I couldn’t believe how tall she was, “but you said I’m in the afterlife, so my pup, is here as well,” I couldn’t help the tears that formed in my eyes as my hands rubbed my stomach, the thought of my poor little pup never breathing it’s first breath, never knowing how much it was already loved, I bit my lip trying to stop it from quivering.

I clutched at my chest and felt the beating of my heart. "You are alive," Liv ran to me. "Liv?" I creased my face. "Sensus fatuor," she whispered, and my mind was linked to hers. "How are you using magic? What happened?" "We have a lot to discuss, but right now, you need to rest. Your wound has not healed." "Where is everyone?" "Dead," she looked down. "Tell me everything," I said. "We were attacked by hunters. Torgan hunters. They killed them all. I couldn't save them whilst trying to save you. Something happened to you and I could not sense your soul for the past two days."

“I believe that fate pushes in the direction we're supposed to go, but we have to chose how to go there. We get to choose the path that leads us to our fate.” “Interesting,” he said, slowly digesting my words. “What if I don't like my fate? Do I get to choose a different one?” “No,” I replied shaking my head. “We don't get to chose our fates, just how we accept them. Fate is that the sun is going to set and we will be in the dark. There is nothing we can do to stop it. It is what is destined to happen. But we have free will, so even though the sun sets and there is darkness, we can chose to gather and light candles.”

Usually, Tobias has done that, but now…who knows when Tobias will come back? Daya doesn’t want anything from me. She just wants me. She doesn’t care about titles or being Luna. I was hurt that she considered not having children, but I understand her concerns. There is a chance the Fated Plague isn’t over. I can’t help but hope that our being fated mates is a sign from the Moon Goddess that the plague is over. It must be, right?

I shooed her away, assuring her that I did know how to work them and sat at the one located farthest from the door. She had said before that Aro had put a lot of work into cataloguing various information about our kind, from our laws to our myths. I began quickly typing any buzz words I could think of that might retrieve documents related to fated mates. I searched for what felt like hours, becoming increasingly frustrated that nothing I entered brought up anything useful about breaking our bond. I decided I would try one last link under my current search term, 'broken bond', and was stunned at what was on the screen before me.

“Why is that?” “I hate it when they say that when you were inside the womb of your mother, your fate has already been established. For example, I was fated to fall in love with a rich guy or I’m fated to die after birth. Yes, my fate has already been drawn but I’m the only one who can change it. Why do you suddenly ask about it?” “Do you believe in unexpected fate?” My forehead wrinkled as I face him. he glanced at me before turning her gaze on the road. “What do you mean by unexpected fate?”
