This was inside the open portion of a crescent moon. The mark on my neck was an ouroboros made of water. Inside of it were flames. Beauty said that the ouroboros symbolize rebirth. The water not extinguishing the flames showed that there was a synergy between the two parts that made the mark whole, essentially the two parts of who I was. Apparently, understanding symbolism was something that she picked up from Theo. "Told you that it'd work," Brynn told Beauty after she looked at mine too.

I was very excited to read the new book that I had bought online. As soon as the package arrived at my house, I got comfortable in my room on the desk and started reading. My window was open and it offered me a very nice view of the landscape outside. It was a sunny afternoon in Puerto Cabezas and I could hear the birds singing in the distance. It seemed like the perfect time to immerse myself in my reading.

If there was even a sliver of a way back… My fingers dragged over one particularly ancient tome: bound in silver and wrapped in spell-locked chains. Lylah, deep in thought, heard the sound and rushed to check on her. “Is everything alright, Madam Selene?” she asked the older woman, who was staring at an empty safe. “It was there last week,” Selene muttered under her breath, eyes wide as she reached inside—but it was still empty. “What is it you’re looking for?” Selene glanced back at Lylah. “The Book of Old Tales… the one that contains information about the Ouroboros,” Selene said, visibly disturbed. “It held secrets and…” Lylah’s frown deepened while Selene felt her chest tighten. Her voice dropped low in despair.

“The Eden network is cleaned. No extinction. No cleansing. The seed chambers in alpha and beta stand for automatic ejection. The atmospheric transducers here in Ouroboros have already begun, toxic filtering storm all over the city.” Kael helped me. My leg was still posing, but the medical gel had the Pain almost completely stunned. Just a plain book, worn at the corners. I flipped it open. The first page was filled with faded handwriting. I squinted at the words. The orb does not serve. It lives. To touch its center is to hold time itself. But time bends for no one. I turned the next page, and what I saw chilled me. Drawings. Human-like figures who had once tried to take the orb’s core energy. Some had melted into shadows. Others had aged backward until they vanished completely. As she hummed, the Ouroboros around us began to *change*. The dead, black metal of the walls began to glow with a soft, golden light. Vines of what looked like living, golden code began to sprout from the consoles, crawling across the deck, weaving through the shattered viewports. The garden wasn't fighting the ship. It was *merging* with it. The Ouroboros, a weapon of pure logic and death, was being infused with life. The advancing army stopped. The lead being tilted its head, its featureless face seeming to… listen.

He started with Alpha and gave a vivid description of how they are, oblivious that Harold's father was one and all things being normal, he was meant to be ascend the position next. When he was done talking on Alphas, he talked a little on the characteristics an Alpha's wife, a Luna, was meant to possess. When he was done, he spoke on the Betas and spent another fifteen minutes talking on Deltas. By the time he reached subtopic ‘Omega’, the class was almost entirely over. He then went on to talk on a wolf which they all possessed before the class came to an end. “What is it like being the pup of an Alpha?” Chloe asked as she and Harold walked out of the classroom.

Immediately, the sound of a lock turning could be heard coming from inside the box. He then opened the lid to discover a mysterious book inside that pulsated with energy. The book was made from normal paper and looked to be ancient. The writings on the book even contained ancient writings. He read the title out loud. “Winged Serpent Clone?” Immediately, an evil aura rushed up towards him with screams of a thousand suffering souls.
