Then I continue to search the clearing for a sign of the monster. Suddenly in the distance we hear an ear-piercing scream and we hear the loud footsteps of what can only be our first monster. It must have caught something because when it appears it has a large brown bag thrown over its shoulder and the bag keeps thrashing about. When the monster reaches the only log in the small clearing, it drops the bag into the ground. Then it sits down on the log and watches the bag with a hint of amusement. I look at Ash and whisper

His hand lifted, hovered just inches from the handle. If he turned it , if he stepped inside there’d be no undoing it. Not this time. He could finish what they started. Bury himself so deep inside that mouth, inside that want, that for a few hours, he wouldn’t have to think about betrayal and bloodlines and wedding vows. He could forget. She says okay as we wave goodbye to each other for now, little does she know I'm taking her shopping for more clothes later. I get to Blake's office and knock, "Come in, Thalia. I know it's you," he says plainly. Walking into his office, I tell him quickly, "You would not believe what I'm about to tell you." Blake leans in on his desk. "I think Amara is supernatural. We were in the courtyard area drinking tea when she informed me she would be staying." Blake cuts me off, "She is staying?" he says with a grin on his face.

She's a monster. I finally give in and everything blacks out.

“She carries our mark. Our scent was on her first. You stole her from us like some thief in the night.” I took one deliberate step closer. The monster inside me, the ancient, ruthless part of my power, stirred and pushed against my control. Silver fur rippled across my forearms. Claws extended from my fingertips with a faint metallic sound. The triplets’ eyes widened, but they held their ground. Foolish.

The last thing he wanted was to be caught off guard by a surprise attack. Deep growls suddenly emerged from the massive cracks. GROOOOWL!!! The survivors watched in horror as multiple monsters began climbing out from beneath the shattered floor. Their claws scraped against the broken concrete as they crawled upward. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me..." One survivor tightened his grip on his weapon. Another took several nervous steps backward. The monsters hadn't even fully emerged yet, but everyone already knew they were about to be attacked. However, before the creatures could completely crawl out of the ground....before they could leap toward the survivors....

*** The outlanders were also alerted to the events taking place in the Uduma Desert. In the meantime, Novemton headquarters was watching through their radars. The radars caught everything as Strider and the others appeared in the desert. This was followed by a huge surge of power. "Your Majesty, a monster has appeared in the desert. Sir Strider and the others are fighting it right now. Looks like the monster is a hostile unit." Crystal watched the video feed quietly. The video zoomed in, showing a menacing-looking man over four meters tall, dressed in armor and wielding a huge ax.

I closed my eyes when a sudden quake happened and a loud unexplainable slit appeared in front of the room nearest to us. Of course that ruined the moment, but what I'm most afraid of is that monsters suddenly went out of the slit when the quake stopped. Ellie came eye to eye with the humanoid pig-like monster, well there is actually a proper name for it, an Orc. Suddenly my glasses vibrated, and a notification appeared on my inbox. It broke something in Hailey. “Please let her go, She knows nothing about this!!”. She cried coming out of the shadows which hid her. “Then give me what I want”. His voice sounded guttural, unnatural and scary but still had that accent. “You tell me and she lives”. “Hailey run!!”, Peggy shouted. She winced as the Monster’s claws dug deeper into her skin as punishment for the small act of rebellion. The green eyes focused on her. “Where is the Blood Orchid, Hailey Brookes?”
