Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Maybe a little guarded. “The way they behave when they’re around you, all respectful and loyal… and then the way they act when you’re not there.” I shake my head a little. “It’s different. You feel it.” He raises an eyebrow but doesn’t interrupt, so I keep going. “When you’re the outsider in a place like this, you start to notice things. Even when you’re not trying to.” I glance at him for a second, then back down at my hands, fidgeting with the edge of my sleeve like I’m unsure. “Stuff other people might miss or think is normal just starts standing out.”

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

Contract Beta

Contract Beta

Why was it that when he was touching me, I felt all my worries fade away? We reached a door that had the number one on it, in a bold black font. It was simple which made me feel a little better about the place. The mansion was huge and extravagant, yet this place seemed much plainer, like me. Eric opened the door and allowed me to go inside first. That was also when he released my hand. My hand which had once been warmed by his touch suddenly felt cold. When they say never to judge a book by its cover, must have been talking about this apartment. What had appeared simple on the outside, was anything but that on the inside. The walls were white, which was probably the only thing simple about

The Dragon Queen: Runaway Bride

The Dragon Queen: Runaway Bride

I had to admit, it was prettier than our palace back home. Then the whispers started again. “That’s them.” “The outsiders.” “She’s the one.” “ Okay, we get it. We’re strangers. Deal with it.” “ Maria! “ I cautioned. Maria leaned closer to me. “I’m just tired of their whispers.” “Let them be,” I murmured. “Just ignore them.” We kept walking, pretending we couldn’t hear them anymore. But each word still stung. We stepped into the outer court, and there we saw them. Valdanus stood near the center, speaking to a few guards in their own language. Estevan leaned against a pillar, arms crossed, watching everything with quiet interest.

The Compound (The Compound series book1)

The Compound (The Compound series book1)

Slowly, one by one the dead's numbers dropped and we inched our way towards the store doors and freedom. A wave of icy air swept inside as Rig opened the door and gave cover fire for us to head out. I finally breathed again once outside the store and stood with my back to the windows scanning the streets waiting for the others. We climbed back into the trucks shutting the doors with a bang before tearing off into the night.

House of Lycans (After Dark)

House of Lycans (After Dark)

She said raising a brow "Hey it isn't my fault I'm too pretty and the ladies can't seem to stay away," He boasted with a smirk earning an eye roll from Alexa. "What the hell," He got up from his seat and moved towards the windows with a frown on his face, "Seems like we have got visitors," "Neighbors?," She asked putting down the book. Hallow Groove rarely had any visitors, it was a small town on the outskirts of the city. "I think outsiders," He said while the people inside the shop moved towards the window to get a better view of the outsiders.

To Avenge My Ex, I Married A Tycoon

To Avenge My Ex, I Married A Tycoon

She didn't even have the chance to speak with her, yet she was already helplessly witnessing her slowly wasting away. Through the window, Connie saw the scorched earth outside of the walls. The inner part of the towering walls was an isolated bubble because there were flowers and grass. It looked like a prosperous town. On the other hand, outside of the walls, the earth was scorched black. Desperate people were wailing for help outside of the city, but nobody took pity on them because from the perspective of the castle's owner, they were just a bunch of nobodies. Linux came rushing in once again.

Michy, I love your writing style and this story. You are a talented writer. Hilda and Nathan are my favorite book characters. I love the love they share and how they care for each other and others. Thank you for the shout-out in Chapter 897. I am so honored. And you're right about Anthony. :-)

The Rebirth of a Vengeful Heiress: I’ll End You Before the W

The Rebirth of a Vengeful Heiress: I’ll End You Before the W

Outplanned me. Outlasted me. She had stripped away my wealth. Taken away my future. Locked me outside the gates. And left me to freeze. The wind howled again. Louder this time. Violently shaking the heavy oak door. Somewhere downstairs, ice continued spreading through the mansion like a living creature reclaiming territory. I slowly approached the narrow window. Beyond the frost-covered glass was nothing but darkness. Snow. Wind. Death. A white abyss swallowing the world whole. And somewhere hidden beyond that storm...

The Silhouette of Us

The Silhouette of Us

The kiss held the warmth of the hearth, the salt of the coastal wind, and the absolute security of a future they had fiercely claimed on equal ground. When they finally parted, Clara rested her forehead against Jillian’s, her unshielded smile radiant in the dim, shadowed room as the winter snow continued to dust the pine trees outside. The master ledgers of Wall Street were sealed, the golden cage was a memory, and the fortress had long since met the shoreline. Here in the quiet cottage, under the weight of the solstice night, the true story was finally being written—one unburdened page at a time.

The Awakening

The Awakening

“What is it?” I inhaled sharply—and the scent hit me. Rancid. Bitter. Not pack. Not friend. Rogues. My lips peeled back into a snarl. “Trouble.” The gates shuddered, then burst inward with the force of bodies slamming through. Shadows spilled into the courtyard—wolves, lean and feral, eyes glowing with hunger. Rogues. At least seven of them. The air erupted with chaos. Guards shouted, steel clashed, claws ripped against armor. The courtyard became a storm of violence.

What does the major want?

What does the major want?

Externally, she was paralyzed by a profound stupor, unable to reconcile her reality: she was standing on the threshold of a prison—a place that was not her home. In the depths of her bewildered heart, she whispered: "Susie, my love... I..." Her thoughts were severed as the gate hit the ground with a final thud, fully exposing the courtyard. They were hauled inside, and as they crossed the line, the heavy gate began its slow, mechanical ascent to close once more. Lara and the others instinctively turned their heads to look back. In that fleeting moment, the world outside—despite the desolation and the harrowing journey they had just endured—suddenly felt familiar, almost cherished. It was as
