Against All Odds
If the warriors chasing me were shooting their arrows at me, I might not have successfully made it through the gate.
Once out of the gate, I ran with all my might, to the only place that I knew could serve as a haven for me. There, at the neutral grounds, I could make it so none of them would see me, I knew the place better than anyone else so I kept on running, but after a quick thought, I had to stop.
In our world, we all knew there was success in numbers and that was my disadvantage, I was all alone. They all knew my scent and could easily find me through it so I stopped and picked up some leaves, squeezed as I ran, and rubbed them on my arms and legs.
