The reaper that appears in front of her, who wears unusual clothes, yet rings the very world that reflected unto the original, and just like this world where she exists is playing the same game that no one of them could ever escape from but holds the difference and uncanny ways than theirs. He wears a mask that somehow imitates a mummy, yet not and the scythe that shines with its material that is made from gold, silver, gems, and bronze.

I snarl at him. His eyes sweep over me to the rest. They’ve all stood up in guard, but that doesn’t seem to faze him at all. One thing that makes Reaper really dangerous is the fact that he was maniac. Sure, I am cold, but Reaper takes that to a whole new level. He is a sociopath and a psychopath, all wrapped in a pretty ugly and deadly bow. “I’m here to see, Ava. Why else do you think I would be here? To see your sorry ass?” he asks with a devious smirk.

His giggles erupted into loud, manic laughter, and the Reapers behind our seats raised their blades. Before the one behind me could stab down, I pulled the revolver from my pocket, pointed up at the Reaper’s jaw, and fired. The Reaper fell as the bullet blasted through its head, but no blood sprayed from the wound—only a cloud of dust. The skull mask wasn’t a mask at all. It was its face!

I shot the next instruction and found a new syringe in the crash cart. “What are you doing?” Mayra asked me when she saw me taking the syringe. “We need to take the blood out of that spot, but it’s their mate mark. We can’t slash it or puncture it.” I told her hurriedly and ran towards Luna Hailley. Papa also ran towards the crash cart, but Mayra stopped him. “His mate is related to you by blood. Try to keep her strength. Let me do this.” She instructed him hurriedly.
