Oakwood was familiar now, yet it carried secrets beneath its comforting canopy, and tonight, instinct prickled along my spine.

As Eryndor traversed the lush green landscape, the gentle rustle of leaves and the soft gurgle of the river Kunhar accompanying him, he chanced upon a breathtaking sight- a sight of an eye sore. A grove of sturdy oaks, their long branches intertwined, stretched towards the sky, beckoning him to rest awhile. The village of Nestle, with its lush green fields and vigilant farmers, lay nestled within the embrace of the oaks, like a bird in its nest. The name seemed fitting, as if the village had grown organically from the land itself.

They did not stop until they reached what appeared to be an arboretum There were two levels, and you had to get down to the lower level by taking stairs made out of iron that creaked with every step that you took. The arboretum was filled with all kinds of plants and flowers---some that were familiar, and some that looked as though they were from another world. There were several that glowed. One that seemed to be humming The Beatles, and another that had a strange, pink ooze coming from it.

She went to another lookout point but this place had an actual parking lot and there were more cars around. The place also had some signs and trail information leading into the woods. “It’s a rainforest, Judah,” she said simply. “Can you help me with these?”

Taken aback by the soothing sounds of the forest. They listened to it for a while before Oli asked, "What is this place?" "I call it the Ashen Grove. There's a large willow tree here that looks like it's got ash from a fire painted onto its bark. I figured you'd like it here. A place where you can go without being bothered." Kate answered and brushed against her brother. "Thankyou." Oli said. "Your welcome, I'll leave you here to get to know the Grove a little better. Follow my scent back home, when your done." Kate said and Oli nodded.
