Saved, Then Rejected by my Ice Hockey Mate

Saved, Then Rejected by my Ice Hockey Mate

Maybe that was Sora. The door swung open to reveal steps carved from solid rock, leading up to a courtyard that made my breath catch in my throat. We’d reached the farthest edge of Woodhill—where the modern roads gave way to ancient forest, and the world felt like it really had stepped back hundreds of years ago. The courtyard was framed by walls of grey granite, weathered so smooth by time that they seemed to glow in the dappled light filtering through the canopy of towering redwood and ironwood trees above.

WillowRidge

WillowRidge

Beatrix: After my shift at the café, I decided to take a walk. The restrictions had kept most of the media at bay, but I still took the back alley to avoid the reporters. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over WillowRidge, and I found myself drawn toward the community hall. The place was quiet, almost eerie in the fading light. I stepped inside, my footsteps echoing in the empty space. Memories flooded back—the laughter of children, the warmth of my father’s hand as he led me to the play area, and… Sebastian.

Played In Thirty Days

Played In Thirty Days

Leigh shouted into the little honey coloured house that sat quietly on one of the many rapidly occupied plains of Wild Oaks. The little town had earned its name from the ring of widespread Oak trees that sprouted out of the ground wherever they pleased. Leigh in fact, had one of the trees growing in her backyard right where a swing had been built. It provided shade on hot summer days and held most of the snow on the fiercest winters only to release them as water droplets later on.

The Tyrant alpha

The Tyrant alpha

Abertha would somehow know, and I’d never hear the end of it. As I make my way between towering trees, I keep my eyes cast down. Ashbalm sprouts in shade, and it likes to hide, creeping along the ground like a vine. You have to look for flashes of white among the undergrowth. I follow a stream until it disappears into a thick patch of red osier dogwood, and then I hike up a steep bank to stand at the top of a ridge. I stand there a minute to catch my breath, surveying the gully. My nose quivers.

Oak Tree

Oak Tree

Without a word, we walk away from Joslyn’s grave, leaving a part of our past behind, as the huge Oak tree that had been once our hang out spot stood guard at our friends grave, fulfilling her wish to stay in her most favorite spot, forever, for eternity. ****************************************** The End

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

A few leaves fell from the sky and landed on Olympias and Tyr. A melodious flute melody came from the depths of the woods. The tune was familiar, and Olympias always had the impression that she had heard the song somewhere before. She couldn’t remember where she had heard from before because she was nervous and anxious at the time. “Young Lady, your stop is at the end of the woods,” Ortwin reminded her of this from the back. Olympias strode to the end of the woods. There was a bamboo forest at the end of this wood. Although the bamboo forest was not particularly large, each bamboo stalk was lush and densely packed. Within the bamboo forest, there was a bamboo house. In front of the house, th

5 stars+++One of the best books on here! I wished he could write another book as part 2 ! I laugh and I cried and I sat on the edge of my chair !! No other authors on this sight could come close to his writing . I hope he went to a different company for his other books for a contract ..

Love all the characters especially ML and FL. True love bonding. Tyr never sets his eyes on other women tho surrounded by them n possesses s/natural powers. Unlike some amazingSIL stories abandoned the wife for hundreds of chaps, he always keeps in touch wt his wife. Lots to learn from this story.

The Count-Alpha & His Runaway

The Count-Alpha & His Runaway

The Phoenix Oak Tree was a huge oak tree at the end of our village but it was covered in briars and ferns and bushes. No one would think someone lived there or it was even habitable. But inside was a portal basically the Phoenix had her own world in that tree but she could close it or open with one of her feathers . I hummed a calling we used for her it was a simple tune but Celtic but the words were always a warning sometimes you venture away from your path but there’s always a match made for you

SOLD TO THE RUTHLESS LYCAN KING

SOLD TO THE RUTHLESS LYCAN KING

Rowan said, pointing through the trees. Kael rested his hand on the hilt of his sword. "We stay together." Nobody argued. We followed the sound. The forest changed as we walked. The pines gave way to older trees. Their branches spread so wide that the sunlight barely reached the ground. The air smelled of wildflowers. Then... I saw it. An oak tree. Its trunk split into two before reaching the branches. The same tree from my mother's drawing. "The orchard," Elias whispered. No one moved.

Signed, Sealed, I’m Rich: The Rejected Luna’s Multi-Billion

Signed, Sealed, I’m Rich: The Rejected Luna’s Multi-Billion

“It’s time.” We opened the car doors one by one, clicking them shut with practiced softness. We moved like shadows, sticking to the edge of the tree line. The grass was thick and slick with mud, soaking through the sides of my shoes. We ducked behind thick trunks and overgrown hedges, keeping a safe distance but never letting the two women out of our sight. The scent of sweet, rotting apples filled my nose as we entered the rows of trees. The orchard felt heavy and ancient. Clementine pulled her phone out and tapped the screen, steadying her hands as she started to record.

Captured By The Powerful Mr. Moore: His Forbidden Claim

Captured By The Powerful Mr. Moore: His Forbidden Claim

It was something he had not accounted for. He exhaled slowly as his gaze hardened. He shouldn't give room for weakness. ___ Sunnydale Estate... Aurora sat beneath the shade of a blossoming cherry tree in the estate’s vast garden. The gentle morning breeze carried the fresh scent of flowers, and the soft rustling of leaves created a peaceful melody. Her fingers moved delicately, guiding the paintbrush across the canvas as she lost herself in the colors spreading beneath her touch.
