In another world, an hour on the first level of the pagoda would mean time only passed half an hour in the outer world. It would be four times faster if one were to enter the second level of the pagoda. It went on faster until the speed of time would be twenty times faster on the ninth level. That meant a year in the outsider world would be twenty years in the pagoda. Definitely a discovery that could shock Severin off his feet. He looked at the pagoda and felt his heart was pumping fast.
