Adira’s POV “Why does this hurt so damn bad?” I asked the nurse and the pack doctor as I began to push to another contraction. “Pup birth is a beautiful thing.” The doctor said back to me and I let out a growl letting him know there wasn’t anything beautiful about this. I would take being poisoned again with wolfbane over this. “Where is Liam?” I cried out after I gave them one hard push like the pack doctor had asked for. Lyra quickly moved to the bed and took my hand in hers. “They are on their way. Does it really hurt that bad?” Lyra asks with big eyes knowing that she wasn’t far behind me giving birth to hers and Alpha Zane’s pup.

It felt like I was going to die. “What the hell is wrong with everyone?!” I shouted, tears running down my face. “I’m in so much pain, and no one is helping!” Dante stayed by my side, holding my hand, rubbing my back, whispering things I could barely hear. But I couldn’t take it anymore. “I am NEVER giving birth again!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. “Yes, we will not,” Dante said quickly, nodding, agreeing with me. “Never again.”
