The Lycan King’s Treasured Luna

The Lycan King’s Treasured Luna

The screams, oh gods, the screams echoed faintly from the city beyond the walls in fragmented bursts, and piercing wails of terror that cut through the silence and then died too abruptly, swallowed by the dark. I wanted to run. To flee into the palace's endless corridors, find a corner, curl small, and shut my eyes until the world remembered itself. But my legs refused to obey. I shook my head furiously. "No... no, that's not possible. They wouldn't-" Yuren's laugh cut through me. It carried no joy or warmth. "They would." His voice was low, stripped of its usual playfulness. His shadow, stretched monstrously long by the eclipse, trembled against the stone floor. "And not just here." He step

Empress Wolfe
Sargis and Narine just became one of my favourite couples! I love Sargis' love and devotion, and Narine's wisdom and quiet strength. I wish her adoptive parents were punished as well, but oh well ... (7/29/26)

I loved this book and it's characters. I love how there was no unnecessary drama that slowed the pace and didn't make sense like in other stories. And I loved the way that we got to see some of the same scenes from both perspectives. I'd love to read a sequel.

Half Blood Shadow

Half Blood Shadow

"We're going to the tunnels." On the outskirts of Asheville sat a derelict cottage that looked like a ruin to any human eye. Beneath its floorboards lay the entrance to the Labyrinth—a subterranean catacomb and crossroads that connected the "Otherworlds." It was the most dangerous route in existence, a place where geography didn't follow the laws of physics, and where even the Blackwood Pack feared to tread. Back at Stein College The silence of the dorm room was shattered as the door was kicked off its hinges.

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

Moments later, [Rina P.O.V] The labyrinth breathed. I stepped through the archway and felt it immediately - the particular consciousness of a space that was not merely constructed but cultivated, grown from the shadows of a thousand students who had entered before me and left pieces of themselves behind. The walls were obsidian, smooth, reflecting nothing, swallowing light like a mouth that had forgotten how to taste anything but darkness, that had fed on fear for so long it could no longer recognize any other flavor.

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

I whispered. I turned toward the center of the labyrinth. Standing there was the True Form of the First Luna. She was no longer the giant titan or the silver-skinned Queen. She was a weaver, sitting at a loom made of frozen starlight and human nerves. Her hair was a river of obsidian oil, and her hands moved with a mechanical, horrifying precision, stitching the "Grey" threads of our lives into a solid, unmoving tapestry of silver-glass.

The Alpha’s Debt of Blood: The Unwanted Mate

The Alpha’s Debt of Blood: The Unwanted Mate

They began to spin, caught in a localized vortex of violet wind. Within seconds, the blocks had arranged themselves into a sprawling, intricate maze—a labyrinth of translucent walls that stretched miles across the sea, blocking our path to the central spire. "A Glass Labyrinth," Hala muttered, her eyes narrowing. "She’s sifting the pack. She wants the wheat, not the chaff."

THE LABYRINTH

THE LABYRINTH

The Labyrinth Entry The entrance gaped like a beast’s throat—twenty metres wide, as tall, a stone arch flayed by floodlights so that deep carvings cast jagged shadows. Labrys marks—double axes—glimmered where water ran down grooves older than empires. Cables snaked along the ground, feeding rows of lamps that pushed the dark only so far. The air tasted of oil, hot metal, and men who worked too long. Stephanos slipped inside, keeping low, a mouse that knew the hawks by name.

Panther Hunt

Panther Hunt

he asks in a low growl. "Michela Cruz." He makes no response and glares quietly, leaning on his elbows. His knitted eyebrows and broad, bulky shoulders only accentuate his already predatory air. I had known these very eyes when they were a lanky 15-year-old's, though, they now belong to a dangerously gorgeous panther of a man. So unless they are jetting out flaming bullets, I will still comfortably return the stare. It is a full minute, I'm sure, before he finally leans back in his seat and speaks.

THE LUNA'S RITUAL

THE LUNA'S RITUAL

I pictured those same tits in my hands, her body twisting and moaning while I slapped them until they bounced and turned red. “Mother, what is going on?” Darius asked, snapping me out of the filthy haze. “Haven’t you noticed something strange about your city Luna?” He frowned, glancing between me and his mother. “What is strange?” “She has no scent,” his mother said. “I noticed it yesterday. She is fooling you.” Darius turned to me, “I noticed that too, Lyra. Why don’t you have a scent?” Tears burned at the corners of my eyes. I opened my mouth, but no sound came out.

The Lycan King’s Pawn

The Lycan King’s Pawn

Valen checked three large books about poison magic, but none of them mentioned a curse tied to a living heart. Lyra searched the highest shelf near the back corner. She dragged a small wooden ladder over and climbed up. Her fingers slid over the dusty leather covers until her hand stopped on a small, red book. It had no title on the front, only a picture of a bleeding eye. She pulled it out and opened the first page. The words were written in an ancient, crooked language, but Lyra recognized the dark diagrams drawn on the parchment. On page forty, there was a drawing of a child with a black, spiderweb-like mark on her neck.
