While eating the third ice cream we bought, I noticed the roller coaster. “Let’s ride the roller coaster!” I say in an excited tone accompanied by a small jump and points at it. I hear no answer so I put my hand down and look at him. Entertained by his face turning pale, I poke his cheek so his attention is turned to me now. He continues eating but he still looks unnerved. I pull his hoodie and whisper in his ear. “I didn’t know you were afraid of rides.” He stays silent so I laugh at him. Now he is avoiding looking at me but then he still pulls me there. I enjoyed shouting my lungs out with both of my hands raised to the air. Airo is just there holding at the corners with his straight face.

Before I could stop her, Karmen was handing out papers and everyone was engrossed in the art of paper airplane-making. She even taught them how to fold and make their craft fly high. In no time, they came up with a competition for whose paper airplane flew the longest. I had to contribute the prize of ice cream sundae.

She can yell all she wants she won't go anywhere nor do anything. After I threw Abby in my van I raced to the small airport. We got on the plane with only a few minutes to spare. We were in the air and on our way to New York before 8:30 and once I touch down home I know they won't find her. The entire plan ride she was screaming or at least trying but it was hard with the tape on her mouth. I know when we get home and I take the tape off she will give the worst migraine of my life but it is a little price to pay. I buckled her in and went to my room I need to lay down and let everything process before I land.
