His Little Snow

His Little Snow

--And now your song is on repeat, and I'm dancing on, to your heartbeat. And when you're gone, I'd be incomplete so if you want the truth... I JUST WANNA BE PART OF YOUR SYMPHONY!! WHEN YOU HOLD ME TIGHT AND I'D LET GO. SYMPHONY, LIKE A LOVE SONG ON THE RADIO.-- Tristan's POV. I left my secretary's office space and shut the door quietly behind me as I made my way down the hallway towards the elevator.

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The familiar feel of the keys under my fingertips is comforting. Taking a deep breath, I begin to play my second favorite song. Lost Girls. The notes flow effortlessly, each one resonating with the emotions swirling within me. As the melody fills the room, I feel a tear escape and slide down my cheek. This song has always been special to me, a reflection of my journey and my struggles. It carries the weight of my past and the hope of my future. My number one favorite song doesn’t hold hope, but Lost Girls does. Because the rawness in the lyrics and beats, they start out sad, and it only seems like it can only get sadder. Then the chorus towards the end, before the final lines... gives you ho

The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.

Here to correct a review I mistakenly left for a different book with a similar premise. As far as THIS novel, the author really does a great job writing in a way that makes you feel like you're there. The FL is pathetic at times, but likeable as hell. The ML though? Pathetic is an understatement lol

The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

"You were looking at my hair and thinking something. Something you don't want to tell me." I turn away. Press my forehead against the cool glass of the window. The city is thinning out now—fewer buildings, more trees. We're getting close to my neighborhood. Close to the end of whatever this is. "If you must know," I say to the glass, "I was thinking that you look more human now." Silence. The jazz keeps playing. That woman's voice again, singing about loss and time and all the things that slip away when you're not paying attention.

Out of My Way, I'm Becoming a Billionaire

Out of My Way, I'm Becoming a Billionaire

His unrequited love was completely over. Jasper sang off-key, “You should say goodbye loudly, even if tears fall, and let go of this broken-hearted love…” The bodyguard outside the door who was following Jasper asked puzzledly, “Are you singing ‘Good Days’?” Today was a good day, everything you wish for would come true… What was the connection between these two songs? Jasper quickly stepped forward and punched him! “What freaking good day?!” - The convoy drove smoothly, and there was silence inside the car.

That Glance Was Enough

That Glance Was Enough

In his mind, I had really left him for Anthony. Memories swamped him, washing away his last shred of sense. He stumbled to the fridge and emptied every bottle. Drunk, he called out for me. "Isabella." However, the hand that used to clink glasses with his was gone for good. By sunrise, he was frantically dialing up his old business partners. "I'm sorry. Maybe we can work together some other time. We're getting the same stuff, but another family's giving us a better deal by thirty percent. You get it, right?"

My Divorced Husband Is Never Coming Back

My Divorced Husband Is Never Coming Back

"I have to get going soon, this will be the last time you see me." I managed a small smile as I said it, though the expression felt bittersweet on my face, carrying with it the weight of five years of memories both good and terrible, and I could see in Samuel's eyes that he understood what I was really saying, that this goodbye encompassed more than just leaving a party or even leaving a marriage, it was a complete severing of ties with this world I'd inhabited for half a decade. The sound of glass hitting the floor shattered the moment between us with a violence that seemed disproportionate to the actual event, the crystal making a sharp, explosive sound as it connected with the polished ha

Adventures Into Love

Adventures Into Love

I got up to leave but she held my hand and asked me if we could listen to some music together. I agreed, so I went for my phone and came back to meet her in the same position I had left her. God, she looked too lifeless but I didn't know how to make her live again with smiles all over her face and heart. I clicked on the music looking at her face and unconsciously clicked on JESS GYLNNE’S SONG BROKEN. I wanted to stop the song but she held my hand as she sang along, “So broken, so broken Sometimes I fall down low

Dirty Little Secrets

Dirty Little Secrets

Milka swung her legs on the chair next to my girl, her little head bobbing along to the beat. The lyrics fell from my lips, and my gaze stayed pinned on hers. Her eyes widened and filled, and she lifted her hand to her mouth. You’re not broken, baby, you ain’t shattered, Maybe a little cracked, but darlin’, I can fix you if you let me. Let me soothe the sting, let me kiss your scars, Let me wipe your tears and dry your cheeks, I’ll hold you tight and love you deep. I smile as I sing, strumming on the guitar.

We Part In Autumn

We Part In Autumn

“Zephyr, take a good look. This is your future!” The moment she finished speaking, she let go with a sudden jerk. The casing shattered instantly. One of the shards grazed my cheek, leaving a thin trail of blood. I really could not understand what our family had ever done to her. She was doing everything in her power to destroy me. I braced myself against the cold floor, slowly stood up, and walked toward the door. There was still time. I was going to find a computer and change my college application.
