Chapter Thirteen Quinn I hate being the center of attention. Why did I agree to this? I can feel everyone’s eyes on me, and my heart gets a little fluttery knowing at least four cameras are trained on us right now. “Ready?” Archer asks, looking into my eyes. His are glimmering, and I think mine are too. I nod, and he puts his hand over mine. I’m supposed to be looking at the camera, smiling and making a point to have a nice photo taken. But I can’t look away from Archer. He guides my hand, going to the pull tab at the top of the box. It rips open, and the cardboard flaps at the top of the box slowly push up and the first balloon pops out.

With the little sounds I could hear, there was a battle of bullet exchange not too far from us. I couldn’t stand for long on my two feet and Hunter noticed as he gripped me against his chest and began yelling. “ HELP! SHIT… HELP!!!” Slowly I was losing consciousness as I fought to stay awake. Before everything became black the last thing I heard was. “ Iris please don’t leave me” Or …. I’m not so sure. So I guess that’s how it ends?

As it gets close, he caught the bird by the neck, closing his hand firmly, making the magic shatter. "Is that all you have got?" Mockery in his voice. "I just recalled, you didn't even stand a chance with Pika."

He asks his other pokemons and all of them nods their heads and are very happy for Gyarados Lauren "Ok guys lets pack up and continue our journey or we will be late, Gyarados, Bulbasaur return" He takes out their Pokeballs and sends them back in it, then he turns towards Pidgey Lauren "Hey buddy do you want to come with us" he takes out a Pokeball and places it in front of Pidgey Pidgey "peeee" he happily presses the button and goes inside the ball, Lauren picks up the ball and keeps it in his pouch

His ride dipped down so that Gavin could return the wave and share a smile with Nya before the dragon shot back up into the air, its wings flapping furiously to gain the proper height. One of the dragons, a large green one with no rider, fluttered down from the sky and came to rest not far away from where they were standing. He quickly transformed into a familiar form. Nya cringed. It was Gator. At least his clothing stayed with him, as it had with Slate and Flint, and he wasn’t standing there undressed. “Gator! It’s great to see you!” Flint said, running over to clasp hands with the trainer. “You as well,” Gator said. His eyes fell on Nya, and he grumbled something that might’ve been a gree

As she finished speaking, she pressed a button and a wave of intense pain shot through my entire body. It was only then that I realized I was lying on another electric shock bed. Just then, Diana's phone rang. Without hesitation, she put it on speaker. It was Jared. "Where are you, Diana? I miss you. Come be with me." His flirtatious words made me feel sick. Diana blushed and playfully scolded, "Shut up…" And then she turned off the speaker. She took out a bracelet before leaving as if to provoke me.

Sitting in the attic, Aqua pressed her hands against her chest, feeling the steady beat of her heart, the echoes of her parents’ voices still lingering in her mind. It was footage of Chelsea’s ordeal. I picked up the remote and switched to a children’s channel. The rotten flesh from the past had been removed. The wound had scabbed over and grown new flesh. The warm sunlight outside the window fell gently on the cradle. I closed my eyes. Not a trace of gloom remained in my life.
