I need to find my old clothes and back pack before they kick me out. “Ok let’s go get you some food, is there anything in particular you want to eat?” the question threw me off, they were giving me an option of what I could eat? My stomach grumbled reminding me that I hadn’t been fed anything but scraps in so long that a real meal sounded appealing, if I could even take more than a couple bites before getting full. I’d make myself sick if I tried to eat too much without pacing myself , it’ll take me a while before I can eat as vigorously as I’d like to.

She turned her head away awkwardly while mumbling, "What wind chime? I think you're saying that my humming was out of tune in a roundabout way…" "You still sound great even if you're out of tune," Adrian replied dotingly. "Now that's music to my ears!" Stephanie beamed in response. Truthfully speaking, she thought her mood would be spoiled when she saw Tyler tonight. Surprisingly enough, she was in high spirits right now. Maybe it was because Adrian had been with her, be it earlier or right now. Facing her past did ruin her mood one way or another, but at the end of the day, the past was already in the past. What she needed to do was enjoy the present.

This was the perfect sentence to explain our condition. “Complaints?” He frowned, not understanding. “Old resentments.” I smiled emptily, shaking my head in disappointment. “That is why it is called the past, Dear. It happened. You cannot change it. Leave it behind.” He whispered but it didn't satisfy me. It was so easy to speak but difficult to comply with. “But your past actions can surely define your future, you mold your future on the basis of your past mistakes. Past matters, Papa. It does.”
