It was like I had another way to see life. “Now, it’s time for me to go, Luara’s body won’t resist much more time. But before I go.” Selene dipped her thumb on the white liquid that Mellana was holding and draws a circle in the middle of my forehead. “You’ll always have my blessing, Pandora.” She whispered lowly in my ear to avoid anyone else hearing it and pressed her forehead against mine. “Now, enjoy the festivities.” She says out loud for everyone while distancing her body from mine.

He leaned out of the frame before raising back up with a bracelet and watch in his hands. "I know this may not look like much, but these are called SafeLinx. With a touch of your finger on the charm it calls 911 for you and lets them know of a domestic assault in progress. Each bracelet is set to where only your fingerprints will set it off. Same with the watch for men, you press the closing clasp a certain way and it calls for help." "That's brilliant," Braylin said holding her hand out. He laid the bracelet in her hand. She looked it over. "It's beautiful, you would never know it could do that."

Cassiel reached over and picked it up before Julian could fully grab it. “It’s a panic signal,” he muttered, inspecting it. “Bloodstone detects impact. If someone hits you too hard, or if your pulse drops too low, it’ll send a silent alert directly to my phone and Enzo’s. There's also a voice recording button embedded.” Julian stared at Enzo. “You seriously got me a tracker pendant?” Enzo grunted. “You have a bad habit of getting into trouble.” Julian sighed but slipped the chain around his neck anyway. “Thanks. I guess.”

I love jewelry and purple is my favorite color. “Let me be perfect honest. This bracelet has a tracking device but its is only active if you press this button. If you press it twice quickly it’ll send me an emergency alert. It won’t go off if you bump it or put pressure on it while working or sleeping. It can tell a difference between pressure and finger press. It’s the only way I can think to keep you safe. I really feel responsible for your safety at this point. Had I known your x was Dave I would of never took you to the Island.” “You took me? I thought it was a crew mess up.”

“I got this for you.” My hands shook as I opened it. There were matching bracelets inside. The chain connected to a paw print in the middle. “These are those bracelets that, when you push one, it makes the other vibrate. Since we can’t mind-link, and you may not have your phone on you at all times, this will help. If you are in trouble and need help, push the paw print and mine will vibrate. Maddox took the smaller one and clasped it around my wrist. “What is the range on these?”

This was a sign that whatever the outcome of the tribunal, she was going to accept it. Even if it she was sentenced to execution. With a sigh, my eyes landed on their wrist and I frowned. The cleave bracelet. It was design to keep two people apart, without a slightest chance of touch nor hold at all. When you are within two feet, the bracelet would activate and would literally separate you from the person with an invisible force. Sucks, I know. I could feel their pain. The pair stopped in the middle of the room and faced the tribunal. Marcus smiled evilly and spoke. "Let's start the trial."

The weight of that hit different. I exhaled slowly. “Okay.” No argument. If that’s what it takes to give them peace of mind, I’ll accept it. Papa stepped closer after he removed a weird shaped bracelet from his packet like he planned this already. He removed something from it like a tiny needle and pressed it lightly against my wrist. I felt a small sting, sharp but quick. Then warmth spread under my skin like something settled there. “That’s the tracker,” he said. “And the mole?” I asked.

“He’s calling right now. He would like to speak with you. Would you like to speak with him?” “S-sure. Where’s your phone? I don’t have one with me.” “There’s no need for a phone, Mrs. Lapuz. This is bone conduction technology. I can pick up and hear a phone call by doing this.” Nate demonstrates it. Then he asks Mrs. Lapuz again: “Just tell me if you want me to pick up the call.” “OK. I want to talk with him. Let’s do it.” Nate rises and rounds the corner of the table. He sits next to Mrs. Lapuz and pushes a button on the bracelet to answer the call. Next, he presses the tip of his index finger to a facial bone next to Mrs. Lapuz’s right ear.

a voice replies within a minute, and Zalu hands me a bracelet she pulled from her pant pocket. "It has your DNA signature programmed in it. You will add your favorite transports to the button panel later. For now, the only one that matters is that one," Zalu says as she points to the smallest button on my bracelet. I nod, and she smiles at me. "Tell Burk where I am," I whisper, and she nods. "Of course. See you soon, dear friend," Zalu says, and I nod before pressing my own transport button for the first time. My feet never even feel like they left the ground, but the room in front of me is completely different than the one I just left. Which assures me the transport worked.

He then touched a bracelet he had on his wrist and told her that it was only 5am, and when he saw that she was looking curiously at his bracelet he said to her, "You will receive one too when you will have finished your registration at the Academy of Catara. You will see that this bracelet is very useful, and that it is essential because with it you will be able to pay and receive credits at the Academy, you will also be able to save your notes and follow your evolution to help you level up." When he saw that her sapphire blue eyes continued to stare curiously at his bracelet he then said to her as they had something very important to do first, "Don't ask me any more questions for now Cassy,
