Third person's POV Warwick noticed that Marsh wasn't responding at all. He turned to look and saw Marsh's face was pale, his forehead covered in a dense layer of sweat. Alarmed, Warwick asked, "Alpha Marsh, don't scare me. What's wrong with you?" March gritted his teeth and, with difficulty, managed to say, "Stomach pain." "I'll take you to the hospital," Warwick declared, immediately reversing the car and stepping on the gas, speeding towards the hospital.

The tracks twisted high into the sky, then plunged downward so sharply even my wolf flattened her ears. “That ride is terrifying,” I said plainly. Jasper puffed out his little chest at once, hands planted on his hips as if he were Alpha of the playground. “I’m not scared!” Then he pointed dramatically at Maria. “She’s not afraid, so I’m definitely not afraid either!” Maria blinked innocently. I nearly laughed. The pup feared ghosts, shadows, loud noises, and vegetables, yet suddenly wanted to challenge death itself because a girl stood nearby. My wolf snickered.

I added, fretting if the weak wolf might give up on life and die. The wounds on Casper's body sent a shiver down my body. They were capable of sending goosebumps down on anybody, the wolf didn't tender any mercy at all. "Who might have done this?" I uttered, but Marshall refused to gaze at me and reply. Instead, I saw him in a strange form, I haven't seen him in this form since I knew him right from our teenage years. His hackles were raised, and he was baring his teeth that fear even caught me off, guard. But my temper calmed down when I saw the blue light oozing from his hand. I never knew Marshall could possess that power.

“Good because I am not mad at you for standing up for me. In fact, I am pleased that you did. I didn’t think you would do something like that for me. It’s nice to have someone who isn’t my parents looking out for me.” I told him sincerely. Truly, it has always been my parents standing up for me, and then Martha and a few other friends of mine but they can only do so much. “Thank goodness.” He said with a deep sigh of relief. “Were you really scared that I would be mad?” I couldn’t resist asking. “Have you met you when you are mad?” Why is he acting as if I am scary when I am mad? “So, you were really scared? The Alpha Andres Gonzalo of the Wildheart pack is scared of an angry little woman? N

I am talking about the burning red flames from hell. Scary no doubt but I thought it looked beautiful. ”What in Devil's name?" It was evident Jackson didn't share my sentiment about it as he looked terrified. “Jackson," Marcel growled in a low but menacing pitch as he advanced towards our direction with clear intent. “Hey, hey, hey! Not another step unless I will blow her fucking head off!" Jackson warned and Marcel halted his steps but I could tell he was extremely pissed and very reluctant to adhere to Jackson's instructions.

* I ask, a little hesitantly. *Alpha….* big pause, *I’d be honored. She is an amazing little girl, and her wolf is a total spitfire. And to know you’d trust me enough with her and Luna’s safety, wow! She wanted me to face what I’d been afraid of for so long with the three people who were the reason why it happened to me. “P-please.. M-mercy… Why are you doing this?” I pushed Marl away when I heard my voice full of fear and pleading. I gasped for breath and looked at Marl’s body. Why did I feel such intense fear when he hugged me? It looked familiar.. I felt the man’s warmth that night. “ S-Sean,” Marl called nervously. "What is happening to you? Are you okay? You’re pale and you’re trembling. ”

His dogs never strayed far from their leash. I ducked into the first parking lot I saw, my breath ragged as I pressed myself into the shadow of a broken car frame. My knees stung against the cold concrete, but I didn’t move. I crouched low, gun trembling in my grip, forcing the barrel steady between my hands. “Scarlett,” came a voice from the darkness, low and commanding, laced with anger. Marcus. Marco’s right hand. “You’re making an enormous mistake.” The sound of him sent a chill crawling up my spine, but I refused to let him see my fear.

Elias raised his arm covered in steel to support it. Unexpectedly, one jumped behind Lily, it opened its mouth full of long, pointed fangs, drooling at Lily. She screamed in despair, reaching out her right hand towards the beast. Suddenly, a beam of light from the red crescent-shaped birthmark in the center of Lily's right palm hit the beast. Both animals were immediately drawn to the roadside stand of two stone statues. Neither Lily nor Elias understood what was happening. Lily's body seemed to exude that power, so she lost her strength and fainted. Elias whirled around, taking her in his big palm.

Marc said as he pressed on the gas pedal so hard that his tires squealed before gaining purchase and moving us down the road at breakneck speed. “This would be amazing if it wasn’t so scary,” I said between chattering teeth. “Are you cold?” Marc asked with concern as he maneuvered the car around a bend. “I don’t think so,” I chattered. “I think it’s shock. I had no idea those things could shape shift.” I curled up in a position that closely resembled the fetal position and rested my head against the windowpane. “Try not to talk, my love. We’ll be home soon,” he said as he placed his hand on my hip.
