Skylar's POV "Wow that image screams power," Alex says walking in the room dressed in a black button up and dark gray slacks. Her pixie cut hair styled look like she spent multiple time of the day running her hands through it. She looks very serious in this outfit, nothing like the softie she showed yesterday. " Oh hey Alex, I didn't know you came back," "You were in the zone I didn't want to disturb you," I took a step back to see what I had created. It was very spikey but you can sort of make out a girl looking a mess.

“Your fight is never ending, guys. But my pizza is ruined, what will I eat now?” Mr. Smith materialized out of thin air with four large pizza boxes. “Pizza time!” A chorus of growls echoed in the corridor as he handed them to Skylar. First was Carver, who tried to pounce at Smith, hinting that he was still angry with him. But his vexation was countered by Beta Alex, he stood before his mate protectively. “Don’t you dare to touch my mate, Mr. Carver. Kendrick isn’t your servant anymore. He is a part of my Moon Howler’s Pack.”

She said handing me the helmet she was holding, wow, how did I not notice that before Probably because you were too busy checking Skylar out you idiot. I watched her pull another helmet much smaller than mine from the side holder before putting it on. Swiftly in one motion she hopped on the bike while smirking at me and patted the seat behind her.

After leaving the Sawyer residence, Skye wandered aimlessly along the road, thoughts drifting, until a small figure bumped into her. She looked down and saw a little girl no taller than her knee, sobbing softly. “What’s wrong?” Skye asked gently, reminded for a moment of Moa. “I had a fight with Mommy… I ran away from home, but now I’m lost… sobs… Big Sister, why are you out here all alone?” Skye glanced around. They were already at the far edge of the City. If this child kept wandering, something bad would definitely happen.

The blonde guy is clearly stupid. “I am Skylar Davis, the Luna of this pack and you will not disrespect my mate and your Alpha in my presence!!!” Skye growls furiously at him. I only grin at her, cradling her in my arms. She's so cute when she's angry. The blonde guy pales as he stares at us, his eyes widening in shock. “I-I apologize.” He quickly averts his gaze. Skylar scooped him up and began rubbing his head, cooing at him like he was some angelic little fluffball and not the spawn of Satan himself.

The woman speaking and hugging my childhood friend is his mother and the current Luna of the pack, Daisy. "Thank you, Mom. I couldn't be happier right now." A handsome smile graces Skylar's face. "I can't believe I have such a wonderful woman as my mate." My heart hammers painfully in my chest. Skylar found his mate? Since when? I put a hand over my heart, wondering why it hurts so much. Is it because he didn't tell me first? "It truly is wonderful, my boy." Aiden, the Alpha, smiles proudly as he stands next to his Luna. "You'll be ready to step up in no time!
