"She is worth more alive. Put yourself together." Sandra clenched her fists and stepped back, though I could see she hated it. "Yes, Father," she muttered. "Come, Lora. Your ride is waiting," Alpha Alec turned to me. He walked ahead, and I followed quickly, wanting to leave that house. Outside, a sleek red car stood at the front. From it came a tall, strong man dressed in dark clothes. His face was sharp and serious, and his presence alone carried authority that filled the air.

Alaric slashed Aldrake’s chest with his claws, sending blood spraying. “Aldrake!!” Amber screamed and tried to run toward him, but Elder Luparius blocked her path. “And where do you think you’re going?” he taunted, grinning. Amber snarled and summoned another swarm of shadow creatures. Aldrake staggered back, glaring murderously at Aldus. “Does it hurt?” Alaric smirked. “Not that much,” Aldrake replied — before Uno, his wolf, fully surfaced. “Good. Then let’s add more,” Alaric growled before charging again.

one whispered. The first tree snapped like a matchstick and a massive shape emerged from the shattered vegetation. Three meters of nightmare made flesh. Fur black as night, eyes red as embers, claws the length of butcher’s knives. The Lican. Alaric stripped of all humanity. The youngest ran first. A claw caught him mid-leap and smashed him against a tree like a rag doll. The second tried to shift; Alaric lifted him by the neck with one hand and squeezed until the sound was like stepping on a dry branch.

His body didn’t move though. Dear God, he has canines. She could see the sharper teeth at close range. Like a dog’s or maybe a vampire’s. She guessed it had probably been some kind of canine breed. It could account for the terrifying growl that erupted from the back of his throat that eerily resembled a vicious dog. She hesitated, afraid he’d snap at her with those sharp teeth if she got too close. “Easy,” she urged again. “I’m not going to hurt you.”

She must have read my mind because she immediately explains herself. “I am sorry to arrive unannounced, but this is urgent. Clement and that seductress you exchanged your father’s horses for are coming to overthrow you.” I can feel her anger when she utters the seductress. My curiosity is already piqued. The Clement she is referring to is famously known as Alpha C of the Palmland pack. He was dad’s friend, that’s why I had suggested he gave him the horses when he wanted them killed. Those are the same horses Terrence bought back a few months back in exchange for Olivia.

Dexter said aloud as we heard the door leading to the other sections of the mansion open. Everyone's gaze was fixed on the passageway leading to the stairs, waiting in excitement to see what our Alpha had to present. And when I was beginning to think that our Alpha's surprise was a flop, I saw the hugest scare of my life. The whole hall fell into chaos as most people screamed and yelled in fear while others like myself stood speechless and motionless. It was a man. A man whose reputation spoke for itself. It was the legendary Alpha Blade, known in Haven as The Ripper.

Marcel: “This seems to be clean,” Dominic said, and I scoffed. “Clean is a way to describe it.” I muttered, knowing well that this was nothing more than an illusion in our world. One that practically didn’t exist. A familiar scent hit me fast before an Omega burst out of the trees so fast Dominic nearly cut him down. Steel flashed. My wolf surged forward. Five more men followed behind him, weapons raised, breath ragged, and for half a second, I thought it was an ambush.

Prince Ludiciel shouted. Alaric rose into the air, his eyes glowing a faint blue as he raised his hands, summoning a hurricane which he blasted towards the skeletons and soldiers.

make that infernal racket stop. I felt his leg shift beneath me, but the claw I held didn't move. A talon from his opposite appendage pushed, rolling me sideways, but I held tight. He lowered his head and one red eye gazed directly into mine. "Stupid human female named Acasia. Beg for your life." The gruff voice sounded in my head. My stomach rolled again, but I managed to speak. "Why should I beg when I can no longer take the smell? Dying would be a blessing." A low groan left my mouth.

He stared at me and walked straight towards me. Dakota got infront of me and growled. He stopped but kept starting at me. I heard bones crack and there stood the most power Alpha in the world. Alpha Alcander. He smirked in his naked glory and growled. "Mate."
