I asked again, trying to hide my confusion. “For one, werewolves don’t have stripped fur, and are much bigger than that. If you meet a wolf up close, you’ll notice they have black or brown eyes, contrary to the glowing gold of werewolves,” he answered. By the smirk on his face, I could tell he was amused by my questions. “How much do you know of werewolves?” “Besides they are humans like us who can transform into wolves, and that Father really hates it when they get into the kingdom, nothing. No one ever answers me anytime I ask about them,” I replied, playing with the hem of my dress.

Alucard was my friend; we always talked about each other's lives, and never once had he mentioned Ryker's name. The first werewolf he associated with was Luperca, the woman he fell in love with.
