James That day, the atmosphere at home felt more oppressive than usual. I had plenty on my mind after coming back from the office, but what I found in Renata's vanity drawer was something I never saw coming. With steady steps, I approached the drawer, not really thinking about what I might discover. Yet, when I opened it, I was stunned to find several photos of Giselle, Katniss's daughter, hidden inside. A place she had no business being.

“I’m guessing Caleb hasn’t told you about me then?” the woman asked, Cassandra’s puzzled expression gave her the answer she needed, she laughed, but it lacked any mirth to it, “I’m Gayle, the real Alpha bitch of this pack, the one who has been keeping Caleb’s bed warm before your wretched self came into this compound and the one who is going to drag you out of here by your hair once I cure Caleb of whatever spell you’ve cast on him.”

She could feel something coming from the pup, as if it were reaching for her. She smiled. “What’s your name, pup, and how old are you?” “My name is Carter, and I’m thirteen.” They stood swaying side to side with Carter’s arms wrapped lightly around Leah’s waist. He was the same height as Leah, but she could already tell he would be well over six feet tall once he stopped growing. He had dark hair and blue eyes that were reminiscent of Ray and Francesca, and she had a suspicion that he was related as well, but she didn’t know how.

The smell hits me, and I grimace. "Audrey," I say in a warning tone, "that better not be—" "TEQUILA!" She yells and I groan. Tequila is the sure-fire way to get me both hammered and horny, and she damn well knows this. "Come on, Kat," she says in her sweetest voice, pouting at me then grinning at Dan. She passes Mark a glass. "Why are there five?" I ask her.

“I HEARD her. She is talking to a man named Chester at this hour. Who is he?” Before I could stop the other hybrids from talking, Walter and Drake had already gone and answered, “He is Katniss’ mate, your grace.” The devil’s eyes narrowed. And when he saw Katniss smile while talking on the phone, with a flick of his hand, he was able to snatch the phone from her despite the distance. Katniss turned to us; her jaw dropped.

Emily’s POV I have to break the ice. “Okay guys, first of all, we will go hunting, the last team to come back will cook for us.” We all agreed. After around two hours most of us were back already, only Emma and Kate were not yet back. Finally they came back. Kate’s POV Emma is really strong, the way he handled all the hunting, I have never felt this good since Albert died. This is my best day ever for the past two months. Emma’s POV

Reyes and the camp maids, they’ve heard every single biting word. Kate’s face turns scarlet. She hurries to the door to disappear and retreat across the eight yards to her room in the 2nd house, the Latte House. As she swings open the door of the Main House, out of the corner of her eyes, she sees one person, Nathan, raise his right hand in the three-finger salute from Hunger Games.

Kate’s P.O.V. On our way back, Kayla was the prime topic of our discussion. The moment her name left Lauren’s lips, something in the air shifted. “She is the pack’s Gamma’s daughter.” Lauren said softly as we walked back from the market, her tone almost reverent. “Miss Kayla is… perfect.” I glanced sideways at her. “Perfect. How?” Lauren blinked as if the answer was obvious. “She is the best cook in the entire pack.

He paused for a second, looking down, before adding, “And blessed with a plum chest.” Yet again, Kenzie’s mouth fell on the floor. She acted to free herself from Andrew, but he held on to her too tight. She warned, “Don’t be such a pervert or I’ll get a divorce.” With Andrew laughing at her words, she let herself at ease. Somehow, her instincts were not being defensive, and she felt comfortable with the man. “I like you... Let me guess, your name is gorgeous?” Andrew inquired. Seeing Kenzie shake her head and smirking in amusement, he resumed, “No? Then your name must be Katniss… because you are starting an uprising… in my district.”

He knew he had to. He turned to look at his mate, who shifted back into her human form and stroked her hair lovingly. "You alright love?" Pete asked Kyana, who nodded and smiled softly. "Did you give them names yet?" She asked. "I have been waiting for you, though I have some names in mind," Pete said. "Giselle," Kyana said, looking at their eldest daughter. "Gwen and Gia," Pete said, looking at the other two. "Perfect!" They heard the voices of their friends behind them.
