It was as if I never existed at all. The next person I looked up was the uncle Troy talked about, Thomas Shelby. He had all the right social credentials, a very public persona, listed as a successful property magnate and owner of a large estate. He had a wife and three daughters. An aunt and cousins I never even knew existed. Cousins that could, perhaps, have been my friends. Sidney said that they have a family friend, actually one of Aldo's best friends, who is a drag queen, so maybe we can talk to the Cade person and see if we get any input on the project. She has an apartment in New Jersey, where she is a special ed teacher, but has appointments in Brooklyn over the next few days so will be staying here. Aldo doesn’t live at home, so unfortunately, I only got to see old photos of him and hear about his role in Sidney’s, who apparently is called “Sid” by her siblings, misadventures.

Or maybe it’s having my own sibling that feels like being at war all the time.” I chuckle because he does, it wasn’t really that funny, or maybe it is. I never had siblings, but from what I have seen from others, it was supposed to be a one of a kind relationship. Well, the Shepherd brothers do have a one of a kind relationship. “So which pizza do you like?” he asks tentatively, I bring the boxes closer to us, and I open the one that wasn’t pepperoni, and he swears under his breath. From my years at Saltwater, I know they had secret combinations, so I tried using one.

"Yes, I'm Cheryl's half-sister. We have the same mother. My name's Lucille Gerwin. You can call me Lulu." Someone chimed in, "It definitely makes sense that you're Cheryl's sister. You're very cute." Lucille loved compliments and soaked them up happily. Still, some of the coworkers were skeptical. "Why have we never heard Ms. Shaw mention having a sister before?" With a gentle smile, Lucille answered, "My sister has always been independent. It's normal for her not to mention family. By the way, where is she?" Her arrival had sent the entire firm into a frenzy. Even Vanessa, the head of HR, personally came to check out the commotion.

I need to be with my sister,” Greg said as he touched Barbara’s shoulder and looked at the people sitting around them. little lazy, Barbara got up and followed the instructions given by her brother.
