Penny had a habit of writing her name and current nickname on the second page of any new book she bought. If Caleb opened the book, he would see her full name. His slender fingertips landed on the edge of the cover, and his gaze fell on the bedside table just as he was about to turn the page. There was something underneath the book. It was a silver item that looked like a man's private parts. Caleb could not help but ponder over its appearance. He frowned, put down the book, and subconsciously straightened his fingertips. He refused to look at the item once more. He turned around and strode out.

Apart from the size being thrice smaller compared to our previous apartment, the room only had one small window and doesn't have AC.
