Sensing that something was amiss, Sky turned his back and saw Kole caught by the men in black. Kole saw him and was afraid that this plan will fail, he shouted with all the remaining strength left in his body, "Run! Ask for help, run!" But Sky stayed frozen in his place, unable to move, like a rope was keeping him in place. His feet were heavy and he felt so useless and stupid. Kole continued to shout, "Please, run! SKY RUN!!!!" Only this time did Sky recover from his surprise but before he could lift his foot, he saw the other man holding a thick branch, smiling so creepy it looked like a ghost hidden in the dark. With one full swing, he hit Kole in the back

He was holding onto the rope ladder with the other hand, struggling to pull her up. The cracks beneath his feet were growing. It would collapse at any time soon. The explosions were not stopping, and the rooftop was collapsing around them. The rooftop was about to collapse entirely, and Jackson could not find a place to steady himself. It was impossible for him to pull her up with just one hand. Serenity knew this very well. The only way for Jackson to save her was by grabbing her with both hands, but he was still holding onto the ladder with his other hand. If he let go, both of them would end up falling!

Frix said to the lanky guy and I just smiled, knowing that my brother is a very caring man who thinks about his friends and even when he's struggling for himself. "I wish I could just levitate you guys up that flat surface but I don't think I will have spare mana for the barrier after that…" Sapphire cried while she was behind Xeno, who carries her so she won't have to waste any more power and just focus on hiding us using the barrier from the demons around this place. "OOHHH NOOO!!! HELP!!!" I turned to look in the direction of the voice and saw Jackson hanging on the rock with only one hard, his feet no longer stepping anything that would support his weight.

Cutter shouted to her as he stepped in to fight off another Reaper. “Ask and you shall receive,” Sky replied. The demon thrust his pitchfork at her, and Sky sidestepped, taking hold of the shaft and spinning it around until she had control of it. The demon held on, not wanting to lose his weapon, and she spun again, sliding her arms down the handle wide and wrapping them around him so that the shaft of the pitchfork was pressed against his neck. The demon strained to break free, his black eyes beginning to bulge. “Infernus et perdere faciam te in nomine Domini!” Sky shouted, and with a shriek the demon disappeared, leaving Sky swiping at air.

I looked back at the floor where the stone pieces moved back into place as if regenerating the demon bird’s body. “What did you spray on it?” I asked as we moved upstairs, but one of the stairs broke and I yelled as my body was about to fall. Sky held my hand tightly, gritting his teeth. I was hanging in mid air. “Hang on!” he pulled me but his focus went above and I saw seven demon birds fly on top of him. Oh no! I held on to his hand tightly, it being my only source of support to not fall down and die. The demon birds started to attack Sky with their sharp teeth, but he dodged them well. Because of them, he could not pull me up.

"Hold on to me. On the count of three, lift your body up, understand?" Sky hugged Louis' body, ready to lift him. However, before she could count, Louis suddenly fell backwards. Sky failed to support him. She fell too. The next second, Louis was lying back on the bed, and Sky's hands were trapped under his back. "Louis?" Sky struggled to free her hands. "Didn't you hear me? We have to go to the bathroom." After successfully pulling her hands away, Sky pressed Louis' chest, about to get up. Unexpectedly, Louis pulled her closer again.

Seras’s armor blazes so bright we have to look away. Lucian’s wings spread until they blot out half the sky. Kayo’s tails spin into a single golden halo. Rowan’s eyes go pure starlight. And then, quiet, so quiet only we can hear it, the sky opens its mouth. Not a roar. A whisper. The Sky (in all our voices at once): You kept the summer. Now keep each other. Forever starts tonight. The fire flares once, white-hot, then dies to nothing. When the light fades, six matching marks glow on the inside of our left wrists:

Talisha put her hand under her armpit and tugged gently to urge her to stand up. Skye stood up and took her first step, but her head began to spin, losing her balance, and Talisha alone – a medium-sized woman – couldn't hold her back. In a flash, Hector, who had been watching them, was at Skye's side, slipping his hand around her waist.

“Get out of my–” The air shifted. Percy slammed into Elijah with the force of a landslide. The marble floor cracked under the impact as he pinned the Hunter down with one hand. Percy straightened, his eyes locked on Elijah, daring him to move. His legs trembled, his hand pressed against his chest as if holding himself together. “You will not touch her,” Percy commanded. He bent down, his hands shaking as he lifted Tamara into his arms. “We can’t go to a hospital,” I told him.

I had to force down the bile that rose in my throat as some quite uncensored images filled me with disgust. His chest rumbled with laughter as he spoke, “ calm down jelly, it's none of that. I just want to show you something” he said. Phew! Okay. “okay then”. “so, tell me, how do you intend on getting down?” he asked, folding his arms. “oh please! One of you should help her down” Poseidon helped me down, I wrapped my arms around his neck, shutting my eyes tight, screaming as he jumped down. "You can open your eyes now." He said, dropping me down gently.
