He learned about her shoe size only because he had carefully scrutinized every single item she left behind at Seaview Manor. He also learned that she had a stockpile of snacks at home, like a squirrel collecting nuts. Most of them are chocolates. Her favorite perfume was La fille de Berlin by Serge Lutens, which he remembered well. At first, he thought the spicy scent did not suit her. Looking back, he was wrong. The arrogant and intense scent was created just for her. He learned about her shoe size. Her collection of white shoes was laid out cleanly on the shoe rack, as though she would return at any time.

I smelled one of the perfume bottles and it instantly made me think of him, exactly like I felt his presence around me. It smells very masculine but also soothing and has a spicy hint. I smell calabrian bergamiot and sichuan pepper and I think those are the top notes. I love the fragrance. And it seems like it's his favorite perfume because he smells like that every day. His taste was quite good. From the closet, I was intrigued by the books on his desk. Even though he had his own workspace, it turned out that he still kept some of those books in his room. No wonder his knowledge was so vast and his public speaking so good.

Again. My favourite perfume, the one I bought in Paris last spring, was gone. Thinking about the fact that I rationed it like it was like it was liquid gold and it wasn't where I'd left it. I checked the drawers, the shelf, the bathroom counter and the floor like it had sprouted legs and walked away.

"I think combining these perfumes would turn out marvelous," Melodie's face lit up and she climbed out of her bed. Her legs kicked Kayla's book and it fell to the ground. "One page rips off and I'll have your head!" Melodie picked up the book and flung it on the bed before coming to where we stood. She picked up the first perfume bottle; the green one and sprayed it on the side of her palm. Then she did the same for the other and used her finger tip to swirl the liquids. She brought it to her nose and sniffed for a second. Her brows lifted up in excitement.
