Aria's POV It was Peter. He was sitting in a VIP room at some downtown bar, the entire place drowning in spinning neon lights, too bright and too loud even through a screen. The air looked thick with cigarette smoke and cheap cologne. My wolf immediately bristled, ears flattening at the chaotic energy spilling from the footage. Peter sat at the center of it all. Even with the dim lighting, I could see the flush on his cheeks. He was drowning himself in alcohol.

Five men glared across the room at the Spanish gangster playing leisurely on his cellphone as they waited for Serenity to take a shower. Lorenzo cleared his throat loudly, “What are you to Serenity?” he glared. “Wouldn’t you like to know?” Peter snickered just as Serenity entered the living room of the Lombardi estate. “Hey, you’re still here.” She smiled softly when her eyes caught his dark ones and Peter’s smile mirrored hers.

she asked looking at him from the corner of her eyes. "Yes," he nodded slowly. "Alright" she returned her glance to the screen "She is in room 16. The last room by your left, down the hallway". "Thanks. And did I say I love your eyes?" In a minute, Peter was in front of room 16. He pushed the door slightly and it gave way easily. Inside, he met a nurse standing beside the bed, where Judith slept peacefully. "Are you a family member?" the nurse asked in a voice that sounded like that of ten years old.

He couldn’t afford to lose it now. Puffing out his chest, Peter put on a righteous face. “Don’t worry, Sir. I keep my word—I won’t go back on it. I’ll go get everything ready right now!” “Great!” Xavier nodded in satisfaction. “Move fast. You’ve got fifteen minutes!” Peter dared not delay and bolted out the door. Fifteen minutes later, the door to Xavier’s VIP room opened from the inside. Peter walked out solemnly with his hands behind his back, followed by a tall nurse.

My fingers itched to touch it, but something inside me — something ancient and instinctual — warned me to be careful. Eventually, I reached for it. Slipped a finger under the flap and pulled out a single sheet of white paper. There were only a few lines scrawled in ink. Sharp, angular handwriting. No greeting. No signature. “The past never dies. It just finds a new face. Your sins are not forgotten.” P.S. — Peter Whitaker. The room spun. I gripped the edge of the counter, my knuckles turning white. My heart slammed against my ribs like it was trying to escape. I read the note again. And again. Every time, it made less sense and more terror.

A library with the books arranged by color instead of title. “Dr. Hale’s private rooms are on that side,” Mrs. Parker said, gesturing. “His study, his personal library. He prefers not to be disturbed there unless necessary.”

Dante stood still for several seconds. The hope that had risen moments ago slowly faded again. “If it’s not Aurora… then who is it?” he asked quietly. The guard didn’t answer. “See for yourself.” Dante finally followed the man toward another visitation room. Not the usual room crowded with prisoners’ families. This one was smaller. More private. And when the door opened— Dante stopped in his tracks. Peter Walker was sitting there. The man looked as calm as ever. Dark suit. Perfect posture. As if this wasn’t a prison, but an ordinary business meeting room.

, she stopped and sniffed. I could also smell something burning. "Oh No..No No No... this new maid burnt something again. Ma'am please wait here. I am coming back", she quickly bowed and left hurriedly. I realized I was standing right in front of the room where I wasn't allowed to go inside. Had Peter really killed a servant because of peeking inside? I sighed and stood there but as time passed my curiosity skyrocketed. WHAT IS INSIDE THIS ROOM? what's so special about this room?

Jason just stood leaning on the wall turning his face away from us, his jaw clenched. I looked around the room a few files neatly stacked on the table with an ashtray. A small window with beige-colored drapes. Grey-colored walls and a cupboard with files and books. A small two-seater chocolate brown couch with a coffee table in front of it. After listening to everything Uncle Raj said, Peter spoke first. "Give me some time. Let me make a call. I will make sure that Sameer will pay for his acts and there is no need for Amy to go through that process."
