Chapter 7 Enemies New and Old Parker led the way, his usual swagger and smirk very much in place. He was objectively handsome, in a blond-and-stacked kind of way, but he was also such a stereotypical alpha douchebag, with his big black motorcycle boots and t-shirt with the cutoff sleeves. Not to mention the forced mating thing. Seeing him again, after months of trying to forget him, I was almost shivering with the desire to flay his flesh from his bones and watch him die screaming. Flanking him were Tyler and four more of his enforcers, with several more behind them, all of them dressed like Parker-clones.

She looked at Peter and asked, "What's your name?" Peter glanced at Theodore before he said, "Peter, Young Miss." He held his chest and bow slightly. After introducing himself, he stood up straight again. Peter had his mouth and nose covered with his black mask, he is also tall. However, his eyes don't show any emotion. Peter would mostly show his emotions thru his actions. Just like a while ago, he would tremble if he's scared. He wore full black clothes. Peter had his short hair tied, his eyes were black like an onyx. Soheila still had her slight smile on as she glanced over at Theodore. "I'll cook," She said shortly.

My heart felt like it would explode. Peter. It had to be him. The last I’d heard, he was in a rehab clinic, after the breakdowns he had last year, after that adventure we went on together that ended so badly. He’d vanished from my life, and I thought I’d never see him again. But now… he was here? In Oxwell? Was he studying here too, hiding behind a mask? My mind spun with questions, but none made it to my lips.

He seemed to find it amusing, too, as he turned me around, trying to get a good look at me. Now was my chance! My hands shot up, and I yanked the mask off his face. “Ryan! It really is you!” I gasped. His expression shifted to one of shock. Clearly, he hadn’t expected me to figure it out. The smile he’d worn moments before disappeared, replaced by panic. “Elizabeth… I…” His usual confidence crumbled as he stood there, exposed. The commanding presence he had hidden behind the mask vanished entirely. I couldn’t help but think it really was him as I stared into his eyes, but wait, his eyes were brown now. How could they have been black before?

As it so turned out that Andrea wasn't the only one who knew so much about him. If she knew so much about him and she kept no secrets at all from him, then it would be unfair for him to continue to keep something as big as his own face from her. But as he was about to unstrap the masquerad mask from his face and just show her the person she was so in love with as she had told his mom, they shifted the topic. We talked and laughed, sharing stories and getting to know each other better. Just as we were in the middle of our conversation, the door creaked open, and a tall, dark-skinned man walked in. My head instinctively turned to greet him. Just as I raised my face to greet him, I felt a jolt of recognition run through me. It was the same guy from the masked party! I couldn't believe it; I had unmasked him in the washroom while we were kissing. I didn't know I'd remember his face ever again.
