“Yes sir.” Phantom XIII of the Hati Phantoms grumbled to herself as she stomped into the recreation room of the dormitory building. The recreation room was mostly void of people save for Tohya, Sunny and Selina – the former who was currently curled up in a corner like a cat reading a book, whilst the latter two were having a game of billiards.

"Overtime termination! Terminate my ass!" I roasted the system six ways to hell and floored it like I was chasing a warp zone. Third floor. Haunted High. The emergency lights flickered puke green over a ghost girl brushing her hair, back turned, dress in tatters.

Cans of gasoline & diesel fuel lying on the dirt floors. As I move further inside, the dust particles reflect the flashlight from my phone, giving off a shimmering effect. I worry not about snakes, roaches, or any winged insect that would suddenly fly into me. All I could my attention was the presence prowling through the corner. I could feel him. He doesn’t even bother to silence his footsteps, following closely behind me. “What now? Aren’t you going to tell me who my phantom is?” I gibed, pivoting on my heels so quickly, hoping to catch a glimpse of him, but I met none.

“Gee whizz! Come on Scooby Doo. Try harder.” I felt punching on my right shoulder. I glanced over and noticed a strange looking foot. Gray and scaly with only four spiky looking toes. “Ahh! What is this thing?” I screamed in frustration. I bent over, grasping the mysterious creature with both hands. I placed one foot on whatever body part that I could manage and with both my hands and foot I was able to wrench the thing off me.

Every single priest watching was shocked and speechless. The two Phantom Patrols had just been settling down to enjoy a good meal when they felt someone summoning them. Nobody in their right mind would dare to call Phantom Patrols this casually. They rushed over to investigate, eager to see which fool had gotten brave enough to yank them around without proper offerings or respectful invitations. Both Phantom Patrols happened to be incredibly nearsighted. They rode their fog cloud right up to Aria's position, ready to unleash their fury. But the moment they finally saw Aria's face clearly, their soulbreaker rods almost slipped from their trembling hands.
