LOVING MR HOCKEY STAR

LOVING MR HOCKEY STAR

Like amethyst stones lit from within. "I... yes," I managed. "The librarian locks it at eight." A slight smile curved his lips. "How fortunate that I have special permission, then." He returned his attention to the book, effectively dismissing me. I should have left. Gone back to studying and pretended this weird encounter never happened. Instead, I moved closer. "What are you reading?" The words left my mouth before I could stop them. "Ancient bloodlines and their manifestations in modern descendants." He turned a page carefully, as if the book might crumble at rough treatment. "Fascinating stuff, really. Most people think supernatural lineages died out centuries ago, but the truth is far m

Books that were too dangerous to be read casually, or too tempting, or too full of the truths that had been scrubbed clean elsewhere. I trailed my fingers across them until one stopped me, the weight of its presence making my skin prickle as if there was a faint hum underneath it. The title was worn, the gold lettering almost faded entirely away: On the Phenomena of Elemental Convergence. I carried it to one of the shadowed tables and opened it, fingers moving carefully as I let myself into the world within its pages. The script was tight and angular, the kind that had been written by scholars who favored precision over beauty. It started innocuously enough, a dry treatise that began with th

The Omega’s Revenge Harem

The Omega’s Revenge Harem

But the man knelt before him and held the Bloodstone out, offering it back with a warm, easy smile. Aurelian stared at it. Then at him. “I don’t understand. Why would you give this to me?” “Because it was never meant for me to keep,” the man said simply. “Who are you?” Aurelian asked, taking the stone slowly, still searching his face for the catch. The man’s hand opened and a book appeared in his palm, materializing out of nothing, its cover worn like it had traveled through many hands before reaching this one. “If you want to know who I am,” he said, holding it out, “read this.”

The Alpha's Vampire Mate

The Alpha's Vampire Mate

The walls were lined from floor to ceiling with books that looked like they hadn't been touched in decades, and there was a large desk in the center of the room that was covered in stacks of parchment and wax seals. I didn't have much time before Silas came looking for me, so I started opening the desk drawers and tossing aside the boring pack ledgers and tax reports until I found a small, leather-bound book hidden in a false bottom at the back. It didn't have a title on the spine, but when I opened it, I saw that it was a ledger of forbidden rituals and black-market magical items that made my skin crawl just looking at them. I flipped through the pages quickly while I tried to keep my breat

“Would you mind if I borrowed one of your books? I’d like to read more about these stones.” “Of course. Let me find a good one for you.” He moved to the bookshelf and ran his finger along the spines before pulling out a thick one bound in dark leather. “This one’s got the best compilation of stories and historical accounts I’ve come across. Some of it’s probably fiction, but there are enough consistent details across different sources to make you wonder.” I took the book from him and smiled. Maybe this was precisely what I needed to keep my mind occupied while Andrei was gone. “Thank you. I’ll bring it back when I come for the ring.”

Obsidian Eyes
I really enjoy this novel and hope to see more, as it’s been 2 months. I miss the original cover and how it reflected the FL’s strength and leadership. The new cover suggests a very different kind of story. Please bring back original cover, or hope future artwork better reflects the story.

I love this story! 594 chapters in and I still find myself captivated by it. The characters, the world building and the evolving nature of everything is so fascinating. I’d love to see what happens next, and I really hope this continues!

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

She took the past and welded it to the present. She poured it all into the journal. The book glowed, not white, not silver, but deep gold. The light spread down her arm into the Speaking Stone. A crack appeared, not damage, but a seam of light, then another. Golden light spilt down the monolith like liquid sun. The light flowed across the ground, seeping into every standing stone in the valley. One by one, the grey stones glowed from inside, bathing the valley in warm, gentle gold that pushed back the bloody moonlight.

THE VOID ~HERIBERTO'S POV~ I felt it the moment she touched the Stone to the page. It wasn't a sound. It was a slight disturbance in the air... a cold feeling that touched the magic I had spread over the city. A small, blue dot on my awareness. They were reading my book. "Clever girl," I whispered.

Alpha Xavier And The Legend Of His Chosen Mate

Alpha Xavier And The Legend Of His Chosen Mate

My jaw dropped as I looked carefully at the image of the stone. The same stone, encased in my mother's locket, was not just a beautiful gem; it was a legendary artifact with mystical properties. The Arctic stone, described in the book as a legendary gem, possessed mystical properties. It could grant unparalleled power to its possessor, but the condition was as extraordinary as the stone itself – a single drop of essence from every existing supernatural species. The revelation left me breathless, my mind swirling with questions about my mother's possession.

He explained, "This book, the book of illusions which has the ability to suck anyone who opens it inside. Don't judge a book by its cover." "And finally this," He raised the glass containing sand, "contains earth, on a closer look, grave sand. Which represents death, what goes around, comes around." He said. "So these are the treasures." I smiled, happy that we didn't have to fight anyone in front of this little girl to get the treasures. "I didn't know that you were this smart." I teased. "He passed you in the written exams, Vincent." Jameson grinned. "Thank you for reminding her, James," Darius replied.

Second Chance at Love: From Divorcee to the Billionaire's Bride

After calling me several times, Ian finally got my attention. He stood on tiptoes, trying to see the book's contents. "What's it about?" "Finance," I replied automatically. I'd grabbed the book randomly and hadn't even looked at it. After standing in one position for over an hour, my legs and neck were stiff. I closed the book and stretched. "Collector's Guide to Jewelry and Precious Stones." Ian read the cover as I closed it. I: ...
