Carry My Child, Miss Laurier

Carry My Child, Miss Laurier

Levi look down at me and notice the desperation on my face and since the Professor got covered by some students who are passing their papers, he bent forward to whisper few words I can write about the book. “It has a mixture of Philosophy, Pyschology and fiction—being told in a narrative and personal reflection by Victoria Woolf herself.” He immediately muttered before walking back in the aisle since students are coming back to their own seats already. Upon hearing his words, I hurriedly write it down without thinking anything. “I do not care anymore.” I whispered. “Thirty seconds.” “Twelve seconds.” “Dude, hurry.” Rael whispered so I have no choice but to stand up with my paper on my right

DIAMOND

DIAMOND

He and his late wife would help the poor creatures and have friends in every village. He won two wars before, one against Rosa and the other one against Blackmere. Jimmy was walking in the castle corridors when Ruvyn and Nieven called him, "Jimmy!" He smiled and headed towards them. "You were in the library again?" "Yes." he blushed. "We finally found someone who enjoys reading as much as our King." the Elf chuckled. "It has been a very long time since I last opened one aside from my spellbooks." the Wizard said. The diamond-haired smiled, "There is a philosopher called Plato who said that books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.

The Chosen Luna Queen

The Chosen Luna Queen

I felt an urge to start browsing the library again and after looking at the many books, one stood out the most titled 'the celestial stone, ' I opened up the books and went and sat back on the bean bag chair flipping the first page and it was all about the introduction and who the celestial stone was I fliped the second page and it talked about how she's born every after five hundred years. I got immense in the knowledged and learnt a lot about myself. It turns out, I don't need to train in order to grow my powers but I just need to focus on the object I want and I would be good to go. I got so immersed in the book that I lost track of time until ---- "Victoria!" I heard someone calling my

The Shadow Knight

The Shadow Knight

Even what might have been a dragon, compressed to human size but retaining scales and wings. All had thought themselves worthy. All had been wrong. But they hadn't lost what he had. They hadn't fed darkness willingly, hadn't been carved hollow by justified hatred. The Council's cruelty had prepared him for this in ways they'd never intended. He reached for the stone. The moment his fingers made contact, the world exploded. Not outward but inward, reality collapsing into the singular point where flesh met crystal. Every nerve burned with cold fire. Every thought crystallized and shattered. The stone spoke without words, questioned without language. It reached into him with tendrils of absolut

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

He stops to pick up a crystal book stand and brings it to the table, setting the leather bag on top. I can feel the book’s energy calling to me. It’s darker than the darkest corner of the underworld and greedy like a starving animal. It’s thick, violent, and hopeless. It is full of despair that feels like it wants to drown you in a pit of hot tar. It is passionate and calculated in all the worst ways. Rage and a seething sense of malice swirl around its edges, so palpable, you can practically feel it on the edges of your fingers.

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!

Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

Rise of the Bloodstone King

Rise of the Bloodstone King

Once I found the stone, I made my way back to the entrance, where Gregory waited for me—plucking up a random book along the way to ensure he bought my story. I had watched how Gregory unlocked and locked the massive doors, and when he wasn't paying attention, I picked the key from his pocket while giving him a hug of thanks. He was so flustered he didn't think twice about it. And when the door closed to my room, I dropped the act and waited until it was time for me to make my move. That had been over two hours ago. I started to read the book I had blindly selected, but it turned out to be boring. Apparently, in my rush to grab a book, I picked one about flowers and gardening instead of some

Whispers of the Void What Lurks Beneath the Abyss

Whispers of the Void What Lurks Beneath the Abyss

Phil still accepted his parent's gift and hugged them, tired from the party Phil excused himself and made his way to his room. Entering his room, Phil found it strange since his bedroom window was wide open, the wind blowing through the curtains, he walked and closed the window and saw a strange package on top of his bed. A rectangular package covered by brown paper and red twine holding it, Phil furrowed his brows and checked his room to see if something was stolen but saw that nothing was touched. Curious Phil opened the package and in it was an old book. The book was bound by leather and it has an image of a compass, a crescent moon covering one side, and a Greek ship at the bottom, on th

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

"The ones who treated it as philosophy or memoir or trilogy-completion—they were reviewing the book from outside. They were describing what the book looked like from the position of someone who had not been inside the accumulation. This reviewer was inside. Or at least, this reviewer understood what being inside would require." Ernest had looked at the other reviews—the ones that had not found it, the ones that had categorized the book as one of the existing categories and reviewed the category rather than the book. He received these with the equanimity he had learned across eighteen years: the outside account of a book about the inside account was a legitimate response. The outside account

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

Heath muttered in annoyance. He kept the gemstone tightly and close to him. Then, he thought for a moment. It would have been better if Harriet had never needed the stone. Hopefully, her future life would be smooth and unhindered… but– He had read about how to use the Philosopher's Stone in myths and ancient world history books. It was said that in order to use the Philosopher's Stone, one had to sacrifice something as a price to obtain something else. All of that was more complex than turning mercury into gold–because the price of what was sacrificed was very abstract and could not be easily measured.
